Although I was in town for less than 24 hours and on business, the hotel's convenient location provided the opportuinty to walk to numerous dining and shopping venues. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for those looking for an affordable, quiet stay close to all the Galleria has to offer.

My husband and I needed an night off from raising our granddaughter -, Thanksgiving and family. We made a last minute reservation not knowing what to expect. We were delighted with the place!! The rooms are darlling - right out of Metropolitan Home. This is a no smoking hotel! The bedding was very posh and comfortable - no smoky odors. Very quiet and clean. Perfect for a quick and quiet get away.

This was a great hotel to stay at. The place was clean and well maintained. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The only two gripes are with the access (you have to go down a one-way street) and the Wi-Fi asks you to relogon every few hours (other hotels are once a day). I recommend the Hotel Indigo and will stay there again if in the Houston area.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. There was nothing we disliked. We had a total of 6 rooms and all were great. Possibly larger bath towels. Very well located next to Nordstroms in the gallera area. Easy access once you find it initially. Staff was terrific.

My stay at Hotel Indigo at the Galleria was a complete joy! The hotel is so crisp and beautifully designed. Every detail of the design is geared toward a guest's comfort. The staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. It has been a long time since I have enjoyed a hotel so much. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The room was nice and clean with tropical decor. It was great quality for the value. The front desk was very helpful. They even allowed use to check out later without and additional charge. This room offered a very nice walk-in spa shower, robes, and a clock radio with a cd player feature. I really enjoyed these features. The location was a little tricky to find even with the directions. Overall my stay at this hotel was great, I would definitely stay again.

I had to stay in Houston unexpectedly due to a tropical storm and I was completely delighted at the price I paid for my room through travelocity. Totally cute and only 1-2 blocks from The Galleria. (definitely a safe and easy walk!) The only thing I wished for was a pool...so that I wouldn't spend so much time at the mall shopping! LOL. Good service, very clean, great bathroom, and fun decorations. (made me feel like I was at a cottage beach house) I think it is a fun hotel!

This hotel was very nice. I wasn't sure if my husband would like all of the bright colored walls and different type decor in the room, but he thought it was great. The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The gave us snacks upon check in, which consisted of a candy bar, an apple, trail mix and bottled water. The staff also help us with directions to many places around the downtown area. Our room was clean and pleasant. Loved the nice tranquil music that was being played when we entered the room. The beds were high off the ground and very comfortable. The only regret I have is that I forgot my pillow at home. Their pillow was ok, but it wasn't like the one I have at home. The windows did show a lot of light, but there were blackout shades to help if you needed it to be darker. The air conditioner was a bit loud when it turned on. It did wake me up in the middle of the night. Not sure if this is in all of the rooms or just the one I stayed in. The bathroom was very nice and large. I loved the shower. The cable tv could have been a bit better. The guide to the tv, did not work, so you didn't know what you were watching on tv. Also, you couldn't buy a movie, because that feature did work either.They also do not have a free breakfast, but we were able to drive a little way down the road to grab us a bite that morning. The hotel is within walking distance to the Galleria. The staff at the hotel gave us a map to the Galleria and told us the best way to get there by foot. Overall I really did like this hotel. My husband and I would stay here again.

Stayed at the Hotel Indigo on the week of 8 June with my wife and two small kids (2 and <1). It was our first visit to Houston and I chose the hotel based on tr1padvisor reviews and proximity to the Galleria. When we arrived my wife was disappointed that there was no pool, the air conditioner wasn't working, and the beds were so high that we were afraid if the kids ever fell of the bed. We mentioned this to the front desk and they were able to immediately lower the bed and fix the air conditioner. They even gave us a crib for the baby to use even though we didn't ask for one. Excellent and prompt service by the staff. They were also very friendly every morning when we came down to the lobby. Even though this hotel had no pool, we had a wonderful stay nonetheless.

Free parking, close to Galleria area and clean comfortable rooms. Great location, clean, comfortable rooms, walk to Galleria IV, easy freeway access and 5 minutes to downtown in no traffic. Free parking was a huge plus in this area too.

FRIENDLY STAFF! XXX is a true professional and was a pleasure to deal with. Clean & inviting lobby, hallways, etc what you should expect from a hotel in this price range. 2 MINUTE WALK TO GALLERIA MALL - 3rd largest in USA - AWESOME GREAT LOCATION BUT - be careful about room choice, our first room faced the rear of the Galleria and was very noisy due to outdoor A/C units, we changed rooms facing the parking lot and were blinded all night by the parking lot security lights at the adjoining hotel. The two inch blinds were cute but The Indigo needs to install black out drapes, also the windows did not open and thus we were deprived of the available rainy, wintry air. THE KING BED IS OUTSTANDING, plush and very firm. The sheets, duvet and comforter all 1st class although very heavy and smothering. LESS IS MORE applies here, the very minimum in furniture, like a dorm room, but because of the color schemes you don't notice it too much. No carpeting, a large throw rug on what appears to be wood laminate flooring. The window A/C unit was noisy, no deflector allows the air to blow directly over the bed (because of the tiny room) A/C is controlled by motion detector and thermostat, a strange combination. LUSH BATHROOM TOWELS! Very nice! NOT ENOUGH shampoo or conditioner for two, NO MOUTHWASH, SMALL REFRIGERATOR UNDER SINK, IRON AND BOARD PROVIDED NO COMP CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST??? Sad but true AND what I did order from the dining room was TERRIBLE! The Manager, XXX was charming and friendly but that didn't make up for the expensive bad eats. HOTEL INDIGO NEEDS TWEAKING TO BECOME A TRULY 1ST CLASS STAY, overall A+ just be sure to dine elsewhere.

i like the hotel, it was clean and nice, but your could hear the noise form room to room. also i feel that if brakefast would ave been included it would have made the stay better.

I love this hotel! I travel a lot on business and typically stay at the Marriott or Westin. I like Hotel Indigo so much better! I felt right at home - and the best was the MOST comfortable bed I have EVER slept in! I didn't want to get up! The staff are so friendly and so helpful! I wish there was a Hotel Indigo in every town! This is definitely value for your money! You get it all here! I loved my stay and would definitely recommend it to family, friends, and business associates. I am looking forward to coming back to Houston only so I can stay at the Hotel Indigo again!
