Was in Dallas for only one night and needed to be downtown. Was blown away by friendliness of staff. Arrived early, got a free upgrade to 1 bedroom suite. Rooms were spotless and brightly decorated, but very small. Plenty of dining options to choose from and the original Neiman Marcus is just around the corner. Great value. Priced only $30 more per night than other hotels in the area I wouldn't let my dog stay at. No pool, but fitness room, free wifi in room and lobby, free computer terminals if you forgot your laptop and free shuttle within downtown area for guests.

Very nice decor, calming atmosphere; convenient to where I was going. The rooms were smaller than I expected. Fantastic hotel! I wasn't too fond of the view out the windows, and only one of the three elevators worked, but the hotel wasn't crowded so it wasn't too much of a problem. The staff is pretty nice, but I didn't have much of an encounter with them, so I can't say much on that. Great place, fun little lounge/restaurant in the lobby! Connects to a sky bridge forvery convenient travel!

The people at the hotel were unwilling to even fid what the charge was for. I had to go through my credit card company to get a copy of the bill. When I got the bill it was for a "reservation not used". I was checked into the hotel and billed for a room at the same time. The girl that checked me in didn't match me up with my reservations. The manager when asked about it didn't have time to look into it. It wasn't until I went to ICH to have them get it resolved. The people are rude and don't know their jobs. The room I was in was noisy and smelled like paint. They don't know how there wifi works and since it was password protected and they didn't know the password I couldn't use it either. I'm a big fan of the ICH hotels all brands but I will never stay at this location again.

It is a shame that this beautifull hotel has such horrible service. At my check in, my reservation was, first, lost, then already checked in by someone else, then the room I was assigned already had someone in it!!! Then, to top it off, at check out, I was over charged by 60. Even though they fixed that, no one, at any time, ever apologized for a single one of thier many mistakes.

Excellent location for walking in the west end and attending a show, at either the Majestic Theater or house of blues. Free service Shuttle was timely and staff were eager to make the stay pleasant. Would stay again for a weekend getaway!

The staff were extremely friendly specially the valet. The beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable, the menu was overpriced, there was only one elevator working, the wireless didn't work well on top floor. Overall the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There were a few problems. Parking was very expensive, and the resturant in the hotel was over priced. The hotel was very clean and had a bright friendly atmosphere.

It is of little wonder to me why the online travel agency even keeps this hotel as one of its partners. My Oct 2006 stay was one that I will never forget. On the website the pictures of the hotels suites seemed historically enchanting. Yet upon my arrival the hotels lobby with its ornate attraction. appeared as if the last time any attention was given to them was during JFK's visit. I was informed that they were starting renovations, yet my question was "how could the online travel agency allow themselves to partner with this dump? The carpets in the rooms had huge stains ( I asked to be moved three times), as well as the ceilings, mold was in the bathroom. Service is almost comical it reminded me of a skit from a Grouch Marx episode! Please do yourself a favor and skip this one.

The hotel is centrally located, and easy to find. However, the websited told us the remodel would be finished by the end of June, we went the end of July and it was still very much a wreck. The entire lobby was tore up. The should have posted better updated on the progress. Will be nice when completed though.

Interesting hotel - nicely remodeled, with a very comfortable bed. I had a great experience with the desk staff. Check in was a breeze and the staff was attentive to a small problem with a broken iron. The driver was very professional and served as a tour guide on the way to our destination. It's on the east side of town, making it convenient to Deep Ellum and the Majestic, but with the courtesy van, the West End and Uptown were easy trips too. One note: If you expect a view, ask for a room on an upper floor. The lower floors offer only the garage across the street.

The room was quaint, the bed was really comfortable. The decor was moder and comfortable. We loved the hotel and the staff was friendly and professional. The restaurant served starbucks coffee. The hotel's location was wonderful and within walking distance to plenty of attractions, restaurants and history. We would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel should not be accepting guests during their renovation. My one night there I awoke to find water streaming from the ceiling - needless to say I checked out immediately. Do yourself a favor - skip it.

The updated decor was a lot of fun. Interesting design elements throughout the hotel. The food was first class as was the staff. Enjoyed the shuttle service.

Everything! This hotel was absolutely fabulous!! The location could have been a biiiit better, but I'm not complaining. This hotel was absolutely the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms and general areas are beautifully decorated and clean. The restaurants food is delicious and the waitstaff is wonderful. I loved my room, and the bathroom was lovely. The products were better than most hotels I've stayed at, and the feng shui/mathematically proportioned interior decorating gave the hotel a beautiful vibe. I will be staying here again.

Only problem was location, but shuttle was available and helpful. Liked the fact that you could get Starbucks coffee in the convenient breakfast/dining area.

The staff was helpful. Expensive parking. The room was extremely small. There is absolutely no moving around. There is a 2 beds, 1 was located against a side wall and it was claustrophobic.

The Hotel Indigo, Downtown Dallas is a nice place to stay; surprisingly the colorful decor along is pleasant and worth the stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend taking time out to enjoy the hotel for breakfast and their various coffee, tea, etc. There are also some close by eating establishments within walking distance from the hotel. There's even a little shopping in walking distance as well.
