The Indigo Hotel is not fully ready to be receiving guests. The staff wants to be friendly, but they are trained yet. I called the operator from the Business Center and the phone was never answered. I finally had to walk to the Front Desk to use their phone to call my room. The plane portion had no problems. The cafeteria was always closed. The hours of operation were erratic! The floor laminate in my room , 406, was coming off so it dipped every time we stepped on it. Overall a poor value for the money paid! More work is needed to make the guest experience more favorable!

Location was great, close to downtown market. Parking garage was tight and under construction.

This hotel is awesome w.r.to cleanliness, bed comfort and staff friendlinessIt is extremely convenient if you want to explore downtown OttawaParking is tough, but they are very good about loading/unloading next to the entranceYou can park securely by paying 15 a night, but it is not great -considering this is downtown Ottawa - i was pretty happy with the arrangementNo breakfast included so that is something to watch out for, although there is a Tim Horton's just next door in the Marriott and this hotel connects to the Marriott, so you can still get it very conveniently but it is not included in your room stayAll Aveda bath products, the beds were very comfortable, clean and the rooms were very spacious

I recently had the opportunity to try out this hotel when visiting Ottawa on business and was very impressed. It's centrally located in downtown Ottawa, just 3-4 short blocks from Parliament Hill and right in the main business district of Ottawa. Byward Market and the canal are also a short walk away. The rooms are modern and clean, with great wallpaper behind the beds of either birch trees or tall grasses. I really liked that the floors were hardwood/laminate flooring and not carpet, making it much cleaner. Carpeting in hotels has always kinda grossed me out.I ate in the bar one night, and the food was surprisingly good for a hotel bar.I'd definitely stay here again.

Decor, atmosphere - smaller and more intimate. The restaurant - the food did not meet our expectations and the service was slow. We loved the Indigo - very funky, wonderful use of space and light - interesting design - the rooms were very comfortable and clean. Everything was excellent except for the restaurant.

Great staff, courtesies like umbrella on loan, free internet. High impact decor, friendly and efficient staff.

The beds were beautifully comfortable, and being pet friendly was great. It was a little far from things in downtown Ottawa. The staff was great and always helpful, but the only problem was houskeeping! Every Morning at 7am for the 2 days that I was there, they slammed these huge doors, like every minute, and when I called front desk to stop, they still continued, along with the next day!

The staff was very accommodating, the property was beautiful and well located. The rooms were a little small I felt. We would stay at the Hotel Indigo again. It was a nice treat. Parking was a bit of a maze to get to/from the first time around. It was very clean and quiet. It suited our needs: a central location, quiet and tidy.

Hotel Lobby and room was beautiful Telephone line and ethernet internet line were not working. This is a beautiful hotel right in the centre of Ottawa. I was especially impressed with the look of the room. Unfortunately, the phone and internet cable lines were not working during my stay, but the staff did put in a requisition for it.

Friendly from the time you walk in the door. Very light and inviting. Terrific room layout and decor. The hotel staff was very helpful and supporting of two people who arrived very tired. They took care of the car right away and made sure we had everything we needed. EXCELLENT STAFF!

This was a perfect venue for a romatic getaway in downtown Ottawa! The shower leaked and there was noone to help me with my bags when I arrived. I surprised my husband with a getaway night in Ottawa. This was the perfect place for this romantic evening. We were really pleased with the location as we were able to confidently walk to the market or Elgin Street.

Very clean. The staff was friendly and approachable. It is located close to Parliament Hill. The parking garage is awkward to access and is very narrow. Close to restaurants and Starbucks. Very clean premises. Rooms are a good size and include a small refrigerator.

They have done an incredible job of sticking with a consistent theme and design. Very comfortable and good sleep. Accessing parking late at night. Need to consider valet parking that is very reasonably priced. The staff was the most accommodating and friendly staff I have encountered. They know the area (Ottawa) very well and attend to all of your needs.
