It was great! Our family was there for a July 4th trip to Niagara Falls. It's a very nice hotel. It's close to varieties of restaurants.

This hotel was fresh, clean and I felt at home. It was in an odd location behind the Marriott. As an avid traveler (both pleasure and business) I found this hotel to have a very unique style that made me feel at home and as if I was on a true vacation! The rooms and colors were inviting and comfortable, I'd like to have the lobby furniture in my house and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

I have never stayed at an Indigo before so I was not sure what to really expect. After spending 3 nights while seeing the sights in Buffalo, all I can say is WOW!!! What a great concept hotel. I did not even mind that the price was a little higher then the other hotels in the area, the experience was well worth it. Stay here anytime you can, you won't be disappointed. The beds are great, the hardwood floors was nice, and it was just a fun place to be

Great hotel. The staff was very friendly and the bed was so comfortable! The hotel is right near the University of Buffalo so if you have to be close to there it is a great pick. The decor was very feng sheui (or however that's spelled) but very cool. I was here on business but I did have a chance to go to Niagra falls for a bit. It was only 20 minutes away and the hotel gave me great directions and some good maps of the area. I highly recommend staying here if you have to travel to Buffalo, NY.

This hotel was wonderful we got the family suite for more room while we stayed it had 1bdrm with 2 dbl beds and a fold out dble couch in the living area. It also had a small kitchen an indoor pool and a fitness area.

Convenient location. Modern furnishings that looked a little dated. Overall right on for star rating, we had a circuit breaker pop in our room, the front desk could not resolve until engineer came in in the morning and after we checked out

We really enjoyed our stay here. The front desk staff were nice but not real friendly. The hotel was very clean. Loved the beds. Liked the way shower was separate from the sink. Because the hotel was not full they did ask us which floor we preferred. We chose the 4th. It was very quite. High recommend this hotel. Plan on staying here again this year (2009)

This is a wonderful hotel product. I was amazed at the forward thinking of the Brand to provide a hotel of this calibur in the Buffalo market. I will be back in the fall and will only stay at this hotel. I also searched the Internet for more Hotel Indigo's and was able to find others in the markets in which my company conducts business, Chicago, and Dallas spefically. Thank you for providing a wonderful hotel stay.

Nice Beachy theme. Showed age in some areas (stairwells, parking lot) bar in lobby a nice touch but no real restaurant a minus.

Great rooms--modern decor, comfortable beds and linens. Staff is friendly and entrance/cafe is fun and hip. Would recommend requesting room away from hallway that abuts the entrance as cafe guests at night can cause the room to be noisy.

I want to find a Hotel Indigo in every city, but this new chain has only about a dozen hotels in the U.S. right now. I stayed in the Hotel Indigo Amherst for nearly a week. I had time to get to know a lot of what they offered. Without being overdesigned, the light, bright decor really lifts a person up. There are, for example, backlighted sky panels just outside the door of each room. It's just one of the subtle touches that lighten everything. I don't know if this lightness has anything to do with their following the the Golden Mean, the Fibonacci Sequence or Phi, but they do make this clear in much of the decoration and architecture. The food in the cafe was great. Good variety, nice taste, quick service. Not all of the staff was particularly well informed, but most of them went out of their way to meet every need. I asked half of dozen of them if this was as great a place to work as it was to stay. They were polite about it, but I don't get the feeling they were terribly enthusiastic. "It's a job," said one. Maybe they will improve the situation with staff. I actually found the Haiku on everything a bit tiresome after the first few. I didn't want to read haiku to figure out why they left a message under my door, still I get that this is part of their quirky image. Finally, I realized they were marketing to ME or to my general demographic. The 80s music played in the hotel seemed carefully chosen to avoid heaviness or bubblegum. No question I would stay there again. I'd like to go back now.

Nice Decor; Comfortable Bed; Large Room with amazing TV; Small Shower with no fan in bathroom; Cafe only open at select times, inconvenient if missed breakfast block of time for instance; Pool closed early; Good Location

Nice bright colors, hard wood floors in room. Slow Internet. Pretty decent hotel. Been there a while but has had a makeover. Rooms were comfortable. Like hard wood floors. Not the cleanest place I've stayed and the carpet behind the registration desk needs to be replaced, all bubbled, looked old and worn.

I stayed at the Indigo with my son during a hockey road trip, which took us to see the Buffalo Sabres. I was looking for a clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price, and that is exactly what the Indigo delivered. The front desk staff was very pleasant and accomodating, the room was clean and nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable. The room was a little snug, but not cramped or uncomfortable by any means. My son and I were able to hit the pool and hot tub, and they did have a workout room which -- though small -- has all of the basic requirements for a decent workout. Free wireless internet service that actually works was a plus. When I called the front desk for a late checkout due to the need for mechanical repairs for my car, they instantly offered a later checkout than I had anticipated. My only disappointment was that the hotel is about 15-20 minutes from downtown by car, and there was no shuttle to the arena. But this is not a criticism, since I knew the hotel was outside the city when I booked it. I am quite sure that I will be returning to the Buffalo area on business and/or pleasure in the future, and I would definitely return to the Indigo. I would recommend it to others as well.

Hotel Indigo provided a very comfortable room to sleep in. Nice furnishings, TV and bathroom. It lived up to what the advertising claimed. Despite being located between two busy highways it was very quiet. It is the first hotel I have ever stayed in that had no towell racks in the bathroom. This was not a problem as they provided fresh towels everyday. The modest dining area suited our needs for breakfast. It is located about 20 minutes away from Niagara Falls and about 10 minutes to the Buffalo airport. I would stay there again.

My girlfriend had a seminar at the Center of Tomorrow (U Buffalo North Campus) so we decided to try this hotel. It was 2 minutes from the seminar site and we were very impressed with the accomodations, staff and our stay, although brief was an enjoyable one. The room was spacious, with comfortable beds and the flat screen television was an added bonus. Room had an armoire for ones's outer garments, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron/ironing board and the walk in shower had great pressure and was very clean as was the entire room. The little cafe where we had breakfast one morning was a little pricey, but the food was delicious. The Staff was professional. courteous, cheerful and very helpful when it came to giving directions. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

This was my first visit (business) to the hotel Indigo and i found the accommodations, amenities and food all contributed to a enjoyable stay. The Managers coctail party was a big hit with the guests. I will return!

Friendliest staff and cleanest accommodations. This was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. Everyone on the entire staff was friendly and courteous. The pool was excellent and the room was very spacious, clean and attractive.
