Appalling customer serviceThe shuttle departed before 8am to the airport.I had phoned the reception desk at 7.45am and was told it left at 8am.I was at the desk at 8am promptly and was told it had already left! I had to get a 25 euro taxi to the airport!Rubbish!

The hotel was as advertised. Nice location near the airport. The room had a nice laptop with fairly fast access. Big bathroom with comfortable bed. Prompt, free transportation to the airport. Desk personnel very helpful andspoke excellent English. Would do it again.

The hotel was close to the airport and was very nice and clean. There were not many restaurants in walking distance. This is a very nice hotel situated close to the airport, on a quiet street. The rooms are very nice and the food in the restaurant was good.

the room was clean and warm. the staff were really friendly, however, we had to pull our bags ourselves to our rooms. because the receptionist was also a bell boy, door man and a conceriage service! good for a couple of nights if you're in transit trip.

Very good hotel out of the way though, excellent but shody bathrooms, mine had the glass door roller at the bottom broken, and the spray nozzels were dirty because the water was going everywhere but straight. Other then that it was very spacious and very nice to stay in. Staff is ok you won't see to many of them, and if you do they're usually in the little office at the back or talking with each other on the seats. Never tried the restaurant or bar. The station is about a 10min walk it will take you about 30min to find the place but then it takes 10min after its very easy from the station walking, it you take a taxi it will cost you because it's situated between two one way roads that come from the hwy. The station there is Almeda de Osuna it's the green line and it takes you directly straight to the Gran Via or Callao stations, pretty much the center of town. There are some places around the hotel like the Ghost Madrid club, it's actually more for older people, Internet access is free both wifi and in-room, bring your own laptop though because the Linux bootable OS might not be for everyone.

Free shuttle bus came swiftly to curbside and drove us to hotel within 15 minutes. Hotel gave us a free upgrade room with computer in room and free breakfast next morning while we waited for shuttle van to take us to terminal 4 at Barajas Madrid airport for flight back home to miami florida. Room was excellent with new mattress quiet and bathroom very clean with high tech shower massage.

The hotel was not easy to find. In fact we had to request the hotel shutlle to come out and guide us in as we had hired a car.Staff were very helpful and friendly and the location close to the airport was a real plus. The nearby metro was excellent and cheap one euro to central Madrid.

Nice proximity to airport. Front desk staff was nice and helpful. Hotel was a bit run down unlike their pictures made it out to look. The rooms had a computer and wi-fi which was nice. There are no great "views" from the hotel. The waitstaff at the bar were rude. Shuttle to and from airport was nice and friendly. Proximity to Hotel Tryp was nice since they had a good tapas bar. This hotel is close (two blocks) to a couple of plazas that had good tapas. I recommend walking to Bar de Tapas for some great gizpatcho andaluz and other fair instead of patronizing the bar and restaurant at the High Tech Hotel. A decent stay if all you need are a bed and Internet.

Nice blend of the old and new. The hotel is tricky to find, and, indeed may be incorrectly identified on online map websites. However, once found, it was a treat, especially for someone mixing business with pleasure. The room was comfortable with all those little extras that make you glad you booked it. The in-house dining was very good, if a little pricey. The service was very southern European, that is, you sometimes have to break into conversations between staff to be served and they can be surly because of that. The location is very convenient for the Metro, which is a superb and cheap method of travel. Once you have mastered the shortcuts through the residential areas, the walk to the Metro is 5 minutes.

We chose this hotel because of its location and shuttle service to the airport. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel provided online computer access to obtain boarding passes. The cocktail bar and restaurant were acceptable, but staffed by one. For convenience, this hotel is just fine.

Courtesy Coach to and from airport a nice touch. Metro 5 mins walk then 15 mins to centre of Madrid. Straff freindly, very accomodating. Nice pool. Laptop in room.Very modern, well equipped, reasonably priced, handy hotel.

It tooks us 1 1/2 hours from the time we landed with our luggage to check in. Hotel does not offer a proper shuttle service since you have to call them, and since they only have one person at the front desk, he doesn?t answer. A very poor hotel. In the morning the van could not hold all the people who had to catch an early flight, so that did not work well either. Many other hotels had a continueous srvice and we were told that this hotel also had one.

Cab driver had no idea how to find the hotel from Barajas Airport. Once checked in, the shuttle was great! Really neat (but unusual) bathrooms in the room.

Room was smaller than i expected for a 4 star hotel, although it is very near to the airport its not very close to anything else, the view from the room was non existent,we were facing another hotel, did not have a cosy appeal although quality of customer service and food was high.

This hotel is a Spanish businessman's hotel. the resturant is closed on sunday and the taxi driver from the airport couldn't find it. Not suitable for a recommendation.
