Great location for old townHad a lovely weekend in prague, hotel ideally situated for old town but in quiet street. Breakfast ok but not fantastic. Room very large - had a superior and very clean.

It was a great location and for most parts good service; however, they do not change the towels every day. Also, through cheap tickets it is impossible to book two people when one wants to stay longer, so we ran into the issue of probably paying too much for the room. However, the reception did tell us they upgraded our room.

Fab hotel. Don't expect much for breakfast but that didn't bother us. Excellent location, walked everywhere. Would recommend 100%.

This was not my first time in Prague. I have found this hotel through Orbitz and it was the best deal at time. I was not really sure what to expect for the low price I paid. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised: the hotel is in the great location (Prague's best kept secret) and the transport links around the hotel are just so convenient. If you want to spend only few days in Prague - make sure you stay right in the centre and soak up the atmosphere. The hotel is really cool and friendly staff are very helpful. I had no issues: the rooms were clean and the overall impression I got is that this hotel is trying very hard to keep their customers happy. I was really happy - great value for money in an excellent spot.

Liked everything about this hotel - the only thing I suggest would be a bit more variety for breakfast, maybe some egg and bacon, however what we had was fine.

Me and my wife had been planning to go on holiday to Europe for a very long time. We have visited really nice cities such as Vienna and Budapest but Prague was the most beautiful one. It is full of wonderful buildings and the history of the whole country is just amazing. We are glad to have chosen the Hastal Hotel for our stay. It is a nice nad very quiet hotel with all the necessary amenities and service. We were most impressed by the atmosphere and very helpful employees.

It was one of the best hotels we're ever stayed in and certainly the best in Prague! ( And we've stayed in many!) The location is unbeatable, you're in the centre of a city, but squere is very quiet. Everithing is so close, we didn't have to use public transportation at all, we walked everywhere. Our room was incredible, well equiped and best view in all Prague. Restaurant was amazing and food was better than I thought. Nothing was too much trouble for stuff, they were very kind, professional and understanding. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an amazing holiday. Lovely hotel at a greatprice and brilliant location.

On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist, however, the majority of staff (not all staff) we found quite rude and dismissive. As a young group of 4 we felt we were not as welcome as perhaps a group of an older age bracket and so would recommend this hotel to couples or older groups of people. The location was great and the food was very nice. However, we did not always get the service we required e.g. our room was not cleaned every day and our extractor fan in our bathroom did not work. Nevertheless, overall we enjoyed our stay.

I have enjoyed my stay in Prague very much thanks to Hotel Hastal and its helpful staff. The location of the hotel is perfect, it´s in the city center but in a very quiet area. So everything is close but there is almost no traffic and no groups of wandering noisy tourists around. The room was nice and comfortable and the bathroom clean. I would like to thank especially the receptionists Eva and Darina. It was my first trip to Prague and they gave me some good tips on what to see. When I go to Prague again (and I hope to come back soon) I´ll make sure to stay there.

In general a nice hotel, perfectly located for a weekend in Prague. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, ok bathroom (with a hint off stuffy smell). Very good experience spoiled at the end when you see how screwed their exchange rates from EUR (in which they quote their prices) to CZK (in which they ask you to pay) are - would be worthwhile to negotiate or pay in EUR if you feel like a bit of discussion (we didn't so we don't know if it works)

the hotel is within 10 minute walking distance of the old town square and the airport transfer waited almost 2 hours as our plane had got delayed. on arrival at the hotel the receptionist wasn't very welcoming and when we enquired about room service, that it stated it offered ,the receptionist was very abrupt and rude telling us that the room information booklet was out of date. the quality of the included breakfast was very poor and you couldn't order any of the food that was displayed in the room information booklet. i wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone and the superior room that you paid extra for had no control for the ac and dirty stained carpet.

We have read some negative reviews of this hotel regarding service and quality of food, so we were a bit worried about our holiday in Prague. Nevertheless, when we arrived at the hotel we were quite surprised. There was nothing to complain about during our stay. We decided to pay a bit more for a superior room because we know that rooms in European hotels are rather small. The room was spacious, very comfortable and well furnished, the bed was very comfortable, too. The buffet breakfast consisted of all the food you can expect, including bread, selection of cheeses and hams, cereal and fresh fruit (and we really loved the sausages). The receptionists were proffesional and helpful and even the hotel bill was all right. Overall, I can say that the hotel exceeds the standard of a *** hotel.

Although I stayed in the Hotel Hastal one night only, I´d like to recommend it to anyone coming to Prague not wanting luxury. It´s a smaller hotel (family-run I guess) with nice, clean, light rooms and very friendly staff. The meals in the restaurant were also quite good. But the most important thing for was the location, it´s in the very centre of Prague. I didn´t have to use public transport at all because I could get everywhere on foot and take photos of Prague, which is really beautiful at this time of the year. Great!!!
