Very clean; Bedroom on the small side, but then most Paris hotels are; very comfortable (new bed!) Smallest lift ever seen...but it worked. Excellent staff...Enjoyed our stay... M & J.

The location was great, just a few minutes walk from the Gare du Nord. The room was clean and had air conditioning, a plasma TV, and a private bathroom. The only drawback was a strange shower "curtain" that made it impossible to shower without getting water on the floor, but outside of that, we had no complaints. The staff was helpful and friendly to two non-French speakers.

Hotel was billed as 3 stars but I'd give it only two. Small bedroom, only 5 TV channels (all French), very ordinary breakfast. Hardly worth the 129 euros I had to pay. But polite staff and comfortable bed.

Stay at FaubourgThe hotel nis an easy walk from Gare du Nord and on the corner of a metro station. The location is convenient but not exciting.Rooms size is very good with good beds. Bathroom was small but refurbished recently.Flatsceen TV was very poor with many channels showing in black & white. I could not adjust it.This hotel has the smallest lift in the world which doesn't fit any luggage. I paid €80 for a room which is great value.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the train station and advertisement of a business center. I needed to do some paperwork during my stay. Unfortunately, there was 1 computer near the front desk for internet use, but no printing or other business center features. When I reported my room phone inpoperative to the front desk, I was simply handed the desk phone to make my calls while standing at the counter, and no possibility to receive calls. Also, I arrived by train before check in. The luggage storage area for guests checking in is the floor next the check in counter. No security at all for unattended items. The hotel in inexpensive and fine for those just looking for a cheap room. But, if you've got business I wouldn't recommend it. The staff was as helpful as they could be with what they had, so another plus. The location just a few blocks from the train station is convenient for transient guests.

Very small rooms, hardly any room to move at all, but very good bed and very clean.. good breakfast included. WiFi worked in lobby only.

Great hotel for reasonable price. Not in the best area perhaps but really near to train station and suited us well for quick access to Paris centre. Room was small, but modern and very clean with nice ensuite. Would stay there again.

The hotel was walking distance from the train station (Gard) right in the Indian section of Paris. Great for getting your curry fix. But the hotel consists of two separate buildings. We had to go to one a few doors down to check in and get assistance and our building housed our room and the breakfast. There was remodeling going on so the common areas were not nice but our room was just completed and although small it was nice. Staff was terrific. Easy access to mass transportation. We used Chappelle. Fantastic fresh from the oven chocolate croissants and other baked goods in the a.m. along with juice, coffee, and cereal.

The name on the hotel signage was "National Hotel" and not the "Faubourg hotel" which confused me initially first. Hotel rooms were small... I booked a Double room thankfully... I was not in a single room so, maybe there was more adequate room in it with the smaller bed and that but, the double room I had, in my opinion, would not have been suitably sized for 2 people. WiFi access was free which was one of the main reasons along with its geographical location to Gare Du Nord. All in all, I would stay there again... the rate was exceptionally good!
