If you are vacationing in Valencia and looking to do touristy things or go to the beach, this hotel is not for you. The proximity to the center of town or the beach requires that you take the Metro, and you must walk through an area that is not very safe at night to do so. Once the Metro stops running, unless you are wearing sneakers, you'll have to take a taxi to get to any of the attractions. Although the hotel did have fitness facilities, many of the machines were broken or out of order. Aside from the weight machines, only one bike and two treadmills were working. There is a decent breakfast buffet in the mornings, although I found it to be expensive for the food offered. The staff was helpful for the most part. Facilities are modern as well. Valencia is a beautiful, charming city (one of my favorite in the world!) but the next time I book a trip, I will keep location in mind.

Depends where you want to go in Valencia this hotel is very convenient for public transport Metro and tram and is about 15 mins from old city. Better for old city than hotels by the science park but quite a long journey to get to science park. Can get from airport on metro with just one chnage for 1.80 euros. They had a very silly voucher system for breakfast which the reception and dining room seemed to be at cross purposes with and it caused a bit of animosity but the breakfast was excellent. Area around the hotel is a massive building site but did not bother us.

Definitely need a car, although tram to city only a street or so away. Gym was great, clean and quiet. Would stay again.
