Great little hotel in a great location. The RER is just around the corner and goes direct to both airports and Gare de Nord, while a gentle stroll down Bd Saint Michel will see you at Notre Dame in no time. Very friendly and helpful receptionist and night staff. Room was clean and a good size, and while a little small the bathroom was fine. The odd shape of the room, and the quirky corridor panels just add to the hotel's charm. Night lighting in the corridor a little slow in coming on when you left the room but fine when coming from the lift to the room. Would definitely stay here again - and the hotel still represents good value even at the current exchange rate.

The hotel is clean and pleasant, although the rooms are dated. That said the bed was exteremely comfortable. The location could not be better, you can walk to Notre Dame in approx 10 mins and the Latin Qtr is on the doorstep. Proximity to tube with direct connection to CDG airport is a definite bonus. The staff were friendly, helpful and all spoke fluent english. Unless you are going to Paris to admire the decor of your hotel room I would certainly consider this hotel, the price is good for the location.

Great location. Hotel clean and efficient. Room (superior) functional but very much OK.

Great locationHotel very close to Luxembourg RER station with direct connection to CDG airport. Also walking distance to city centre with many reasonably priced places to eat in immediate vicinity. Prompt and courteous attention when checking in and out. Room recently refurbished and very clean. No proper shower but shower head to use in bath instead. This was my fist trip to Paris and I am glad I chose this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in reasonably priced accommodation near city centre. Tip - take left exit from RER station (if arriving from CDG or city centre) especially if using google directions to hotel.

Lovely charming hotel in excellent locationWe have been visiting Paris for 20 years and this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. It is a stone's throw from Luxembourg RER station so if youre travelling in from the airport by train its highly convenient. The room itself was incredibly well equipped with coffee & tea facilities, mini bar, a beautiful but small bathroom with a decent shower and supplies. The bed was a good size and thee was a small balcony. We didnt take breakfast as we find it more convenient to eat out.Check out was at 11.30.We will be returning to this lovely hotel

Lovely HotelThis is a lovely hotel situated in a very convenient location in the heart of Paris. There are several bars & bistros in the area and places to pick up a sandwich on your way out for the day.We had a superior room on the 5th floor (don't worry there is a lift) with balcony and you could even see the Eiffel Tower! It was very clean and comfortable. The room did have a kettle which we weren't expecting. The bathroom was a decent size. It's difficult to say if it was really good value for money because the exchange rate is so bad at the moment (about 90p per Euro). The only bad thing about the hotel came when we were checking out. The woman was sullen and couldn't find a smile. Nor could she ask us if we'd enjoyed our stay or even give us a farewell 'Bon Voyage'. The worst thing, though, was that she insisted that we had had a bottle of wine out of the mini bar which we hadn't. She looked at a list with a tick on it somewhere and obviously didn't believe me. I persisted as I was not going to pay for wine I hadn't drunk.Shame really to end our stay like this. The bloke who checked us in was just the opposite, all smiles and friendliness as were the other people who manned reception during the evenings. Let's hope we (and you) get one of them both going in and out.Don't let this little hiccup put you off, we won't.

Nice place, conveniently located nearto Luxembourg stop off the RER train line direct from CDG airport. Rooms quite small, but clean and receptionists very friendly.Bar next door is expensive, Japanese is very nice, boulanger on the way towards McDonalds is very good and reasonable.

A good clean, friendly hotel in the good location. Very good value for money and will definitely will stay there next time in Paris. Good area for restaurants and cafes. Exactly what you would hope for out of a mid range hotel.

The Paris receptionists are very rude and have no customer manners - same as anywhere in Paris. The hotel minibar had stale biscuits but we complained but they still made us pay for them

I like the hotel and will recommend the LateRooms service in future.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Our room on the 1st floor was much larger than others we've stayed in in Paris. Only minus point would be the bathroom which was rather tired looking and could do with an overhaul, but room and bathroom were clean and fresh towels every day. Desk staff very helpful and recommended some great restaurants close by - thanks!

My wife and I were impressed from the very moment we stepped into the hotel! The receptionist was extremely polite and helpful, not to mentioned well conversant in English, throughout our 5 nights stay there.. The room was absolutely gorgeous! Service was fantastic.. Location is superb.. Cant get any better as the RER is barely 50 metres from the hotel door! The beautiful Luxembourg Gardens is just across the street! Very good restaurants and cafes around the hotel so you're pretty much spoilt for choice:) Last but not least.. We could see the Eiffel Tower from our room window! Hows that for a breathtaking view?? In two words.. Absolutely amazing:)) I will not stay anywhere else the next time I stop by Paris! Unfortunately we can't rate the food as we ate out instead.. But Im pretty well sure its just as good:)

excellent location nr rer station, a stones throw from the wonderful luxumbourg gardens and a comfortable walk to Notre Dame and then other favourite sights on foot or via the excellent batobus. 1st class breakfast selection sets you for the day.Recommended.

After reading reviews of hotels in Paris I expected a tiny room but this one was perfectly adequate in size. Our room had been renovated, compared to the room of our friends. The bed was really comfy and the minibar, although expensive, was well stocked. Really easy to get to from CDG by the RER.

This hotel is in a good location. Pretty good customer service at the hotel but the breakfast price is very expensive and should be included in the room price.

A truly excellent and affordable hotel, ideally situated just a short distance (50 metres or so...) from the famous Luxembourg Gardens. The room was quite large, by Paris standards, and spotlessly clean, with all facilities in perfect working order. The location was what impressed us most, though, being literally around the corner from the world-famous Boulevard Saint Michel, with its many shops, restaurants and cafés. Whenever I re-visit Paris, I'll have no hesitation in booking this hotel again, and I recommend it highly to anyone planning to visit the \"city of light\".

great but very noisy location.bedrooms of varying quality - better higher up the building.spent one night in poor very noisy room but managed to change - at extra cost however

Location of hotel excellent for RER, Metro, buses or just walking to local sights. Triple room was a good size for Paris. Bathroom ok. Beds and sheets clean and comfortable. Decor does need refreshing. Staff very helpful when trying to sort out lost suitcase. Did not try breakfast - expensive at €12.50. Street seemed noisy at night for those of us who normally live in quiet surroundings. Sterling to Euro rate made the room work out at over £160 per night so it was expensive especially when compared to the type of accommodation you would expect for this rate in UK.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, reasonable room. Some traffic noise despite signs saying all rooms soundproofed - but really only to be expected given the location. RER station very close, so access from Gare du Nord or Charles de Gaulle farly straightforward. Luxenmourg Gardens just across the road well worth a visit.
