Hotel Donco

The Hotel has a restaurant with capacity of 200 seats, composed of three parts: main restaurant, business restaurant, press- center and business club. The hotel offers 49 rooms: 25 twin rooms, 5 double (queen) rooms, 9 single rooms, 6 king size rooms plus 4 suites. The restaurant offers an open buffet breakfast. Lunch and dinner are served upon request. Hotel Donco is a four-star hotel located near the center of the beautiful and historic lake-side town of Ohrid. The hotel was built in 1984 and was renovated and expanded in 2004. It has a nice outdoor summer swimming pool and terrace and ample free parking. It is an excellent holiday hotel as well as a business/conference hotel. Ohrid's Lake is situated amongst beautiful mountains of Macedonia. It is 30 km long and 16 km wide. Underground springs keep the water temperature between 14 and 24°C throughout the year; excellent for swimming and boating during the summer months. The town of Ohrid nestles at one end of the lake with narrow streets bordered by some superb Macedonian architecture. There are 40 churches in Ohrid, most of them with beautifully painted frescoes and icons. The airport of Ohrid is located 9 km from the town, along the motorway Ohrid-Kicevo-Skopje. The Airport is servicing the following airlift companies: Avioimpeks, MAT, JAT, Adria Airways, Balkan Airlines, and Ada Air.
