Large clean room. Friendly helpful staff. The biggest negative is the restaurant inside the facilities only serves breakfast and lunch and they do not serve breakfast until 8:30am which is to late if you are traveling. I would diffently stay there again.

Location and staff both were great. Room itself appeared clean, but shabby public spaces unkempt. Hygienic concerns about pool/spa.

Price was right for such a short notice. The room was clean. Hotel was easy to find. Kids enjoyed the pool. Salsa in the bar/lounge was tasty. Breakfast took a little too long, could have offered a better price for being guests at the hotel. Employees in the restaraunt were friendly. Inquired about taking the shuttle, was told where we wanted to go was within range for the shuttle. It was getting close to the cut off time to use the shuttle and was told that the shuttle was broken down. Personally I think that they just didn't want to take us, since it was close to quitting time for the driver. Also, I think the staff needs to improve on their Customer Service. Not only at the hotel, but throughout town. The skiing was awesome, but we experienced the same rudeness at the ski resort as well.

Outstanding value for the price! Rooms were clean enough. Nothing fancy, but we had a great time.

The room was nice and the separate buildings were cool. The noise from the other rooms especially the plumbing and the restaurant closed too early.

I had a room I didn't like (because it was wheel chair accessible). They happily gave me another room when I requested it. All the people were friendly and helpful. Well worth the price!

Not nice....things you take for granted, not present....( like a working coffee maker, and soft sheets, and big fluffy pillows....)Don't do it!

New Mexico style. Thin walls, rooms are showing wear and tear. Very basic in some ways, but charming and slightly upscale in others (spacious campus, charming New Mexico lobby).

"Terrible service, forced late check in, misleading in it's proximity to the historic district. Would NEVER stay there again!"

Would have been much better with different beds and some ice closeby.

It was clean and roomy. The bathroom needed updating.

"This is a pleasant upper mid-range hotel. Its best features are a glorious atrium pool and quiet rooms. Its worst features included lack of any internet access from rooms, and poor telephones. The bar closed very, very early, Staff was dispatched to help fix glitches. The hotel is on a strip with many others and is across the street from a rather inaesthetic shopping center, but it is only five minutes from the center of town. If you are a business traveler stay away, but if you want a great pool and pleasant surroundings it is ok."

It had everything I needed except a hair dryer. Every other aspect was a thumbs up! Could have been more secure as far as anyone entering the area. I enjoyed it very much. It was so quiet at night I had trouble going to sleep!

"Like most of Taos, this place was over priced concidering what you DON'T get. The pool closed way too early, 9pm. Breakfast not included. We were told of a discounted breakfast buffet. There was none. Specified for a non- smoking room but it reaked of smoke and they didn't have another non-smoking room available. Bed were poor quality, woke up sore. Aside from all that, it wasn't bad. Curtious staff. Still, not worth the price. Won't stay there again."

This location was better than I thought. The price was great and the rooms were perfect. I read one of the previous reviews that scared me but I thought I couldn't beat the price. It turns out that the review was proved wrong. All doors had locks not like the traveler mentioned. The rooms were larger than normal, the furniture was beautiful and the grounds were well kept. Plan to stay there again soon.

We were in Taos to visit Taos Pueblo and the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge; and to just relax the rest of the time. We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. It was 4 friends sharing a 2 double bed room. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean as well. Only negative about the room was the bed. It was really firm and not very comfortable. We were all under 30 and tired and we didn't have a problem, but for someone who is used to a plush mattress and cannot sleep otherwise might have issues sleeping. Overall, we were pretty happy with the room considering the cost (under $70)

Great staff. Very quiet! The room was very quiet, late at night I noticed that a staff member with a security shirt was wandering around the perimeter of the hotel. As a single woman traveler I felt very safe.

Room and Staff were very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Business trip and allowed me to change clothing for travel after the meeting. Had breakfast resturant, but only one waitress and she did all she could do, but service was slow. This may be different on others days or higher volume of room occupancy.
