Hotel was right next to the S Bahn. Bus to downtown area and attractions stops right in front of hotel. About 5 minute ride. Hotel has no A/C (like many places in Europe)

Since the hotel is located near a busy intersection, ask for a higher floor room if you want more quiet. Unfortunately, the highest floor rooms are not non-smoking. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and patiently answered several questions from us stateside visitors. The room was bright and airy with expansive windows, large bathroom. It also had a kitchenette.

Nothing. The bathrooms did not even have soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. If you're expecting anything more than 2.5 stars, be prepared to be completely disappointed.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. No plastic room keys, complicated elevators system. The location is not perfect, but subway is right downstairs. No parking lot in the hotel, but a big parking is across a pedestrian street in a shopping mall. The rooms are rather small, but well maintained and clean. They use regular keys, not plastic cards. The reception is at 7th floor and each trip in and out of the hotel includes a visit to the reception. No bath tub in the rooms and you should be careful with the shower since it doesn't have any door/curtain either, just a glass covering half of the shower area. However, staff's friendliness and helpfulness fully compensate all the inconveniences.

The room was clean and cute. The restaurant didn't have a varity of menu for breakfast. The hotel was clean & tidy. The front desk staff was helpful to non german speakers. There were no on-site amenities, but a partnership with a gym across the street. We didn't eat in the restaurant because the only option was a 14 euro per person breakfast which didn't fit our needs.
