Reception staff were either quite helpful or useless. Simple things like not knowing call charges from room phones, local news, not receiving an alarm call, opening times of spa and restaurant and menu. Wouldn't mind, but didn't even offer to find out!No tea making facilities in room, unusual for a business hotel.

Location was very good; great view of the Danube River and very close to Old Town Bratislava. Hotel staff were very helpful. Hotel bar/lounge and pool were very nice.

Road noise at night didn't bother us, but may he a problem for Iight sleepers.Slovaks didn't strike us as being the friendliest of folk, but were ok. For a four star hotel there was a limited choice of English speaking tv channels and the pay per view films were way over priced at £12 each. These were only minor niggles, overall our stay at the Hotel Devin was very good. Be warned though the taxi drivers try and rip you off and check your bar and restaurant bills also.
