Brugge is the largest city in West Flanders. Its medieval architecture is highly impressive and extremely beloved by artists from all over the world. The city is also renowned for the many celebrities who lived here, like the Flemish painter Jan van Eyck, who have been making the atmosphere very lively. Hotel De Pauw is small and cozy. The building is in typical Flemish style. The interiors are elegant and nicely decorated and the ambiance is intimate and welcoming. Guests can also taste the authentic Belgian gastronomy at the next door restaurant, run under the same management of the hotel.
