Das Triest successfully combines history with modern design, with a stylish courtyard of rest and relaxation in the heart of the city. Some 300 years ago the building which now houses DAS TRIEST hotel contained the main stables for the horse-drawn postal route from Vienna to Triest. The hotel is perfectly located within 200 metres of the metro and 400 metres from the famous Karntner Strasse in central Vienna. What are your breakfast options?: Our buffet breakfast is served in our first-class restaurant Collio from Monday-Friday 6:30am - 10:00am and during weekend till 11:00am. The price is Euro 21.50 per person. But all our room rates do include the buffet breakfast.
Where can we dine?: You can enjoy the classic and modern interpretations of northern Italian cuisine at the awarded "Collio" restaurant at the Hotel Das Triest. The kitchen is open:

- Monday to Friday from 12:00 noon - 2:30pm.
- Monday to Saturday from 6:30pm – 10:00pm (last order).
- Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
What transport is available to get around?: Vienna also boasts one of the world's finest public transport systems - being right downtown next to Karlsplatz station. It's remarkably easy to get just about anywhere from Das Triest.
What can I do nearby?: The Hotel Das Triest is located right downtown near Karlsplatz where the Wiedner Haupstrase begins, just behind the Technical University. The hotel is 10 minutes on foot from many of Vienna's most famous landmarks such as St. Stephan's Cathedral, the Karlskirche, the State Opera House, the Secession and the Academy of Fine Arts. Within 15 minutes you can reach the National Museums of Art and Natural History, as well as the "Museumsquartier" which houses the Museum of Modern Art and Leopold Museum and a host of cafes and shops.

The city's largest fresh produce market, the "Naschmarkt", is also only 5 minutes away from the hotel, it is well worth visiting as here you will also find the world-famous Otto Wagner Jugendstil apartment blocks.
