I needed a hotel close to the Railway station (Hauptbahnhof) and Continental was just that- right acros the street. Pros: affordable price, profesional staff, clean room, good breakfast...Cons: no free wireless internet.

We stayed here for one night in December. The hotel is just across the street from the central train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was ready when we checked in around 2 p.m. Rooms are small, but we were able to fit all of our luggage inside and still move a bit. I don't think there would have been space for a crib in the room if you needed one (and if they even had one). There was a hole in the bathroom wall where the pipes were exposed. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. However, it was all we needed for the one night, and the price was terrific.

The room I booked in (twin) was recently renovated. Nice and spacious it only lacked in poor design in the bathroom (little bench space, toilet was too close to the door, shower screen was ineffective). Location was great, breakfast was average for European standards.

i had a very small room and only a single bed , but it had everything i needed except air cond. with the balconey door open was quite noisey , but the door was very sound proof when closed.the bathroom was clean and modern , also a room safe. location was just great for me ...walked evrywhere ..and the train to and from the airport was right there. this is great value for the dollar in my mind.

The location is perfectly well suited for traveller as it is very close to the main train station. However, it can be quite noisy for room facing the main road. The breakfast provided is quite reasonable for the pricing. And the staff can speak reasonably well English.

Good inexpensive hotel near Frankfurt main train station. Just across the street from the station, very convenient. Rooms in the new wing are quite new and clean. Good value for money.

Great location is the selling point for this hotel. (right outside the main train station) Staff spoke good english and were very helpful. main attractions are within walking distance of the hotel and there is a tour company next door for tours of the Rine river. We had a good stay.

The hotel is ok for what it is, but I wasn't expecting the rooms and corridors to be so run down.

At this price, this is an excellent little hotel. It's old fashioned but only two minutes walk from the main station and it's also easy to get from here to the financial district and the European Central Bank. It's not a luxury hotel but it's friendly and efficient. I'd stay here again although probably skip breakfast and enjoy something in the station instead.
