Excellent hotel. Every member of staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious -warm rolls, perfect coffee, sliced meats cheeses, fresh sweet lemon croissant, cake and many other things. Room comfortable, large, pretty furnishings and spotlessly clean. Location a one minute walk from waterbus stops to go anywhere, islands, airport etc. I would recommend the Hotel Commercio & Pellegrino Venice to friends and will definitely stay there again. The staff deserve a customer service award.

The location was perfect. and excellent value for money. the room was beautiful, and very clean. the street on which the hotel is located is full of lively bars and places to eat, so close to St Marks square yet incredible value for money, in addition, the hotel it very close to the Zaccharia waterbus stop, which is very convenient for arrival and departure with bags. Venice was incredible, and when we return, we will stay here again without a doubt. fantastic hotel, great value.

Excellent location though can be a tad noisy at the front of the hotel, which we soon got used to. Staff very friendly and helpful; nothing was ever a problem. Breakfast was plentiful and never rushed. Room was on the smallish side but more than adequate for 2 people with everything we needed. A very laid back hotel in a superb location, at the heart of this enchanting city.

Very easy to find in the labyrinth of Venice. Perfect location. Price of room very high regarding its size. Breakfast ok, but quite simple.

I had a single room on the 4th floor. The elevator only goes to the 3rd floor so I had to walk up a flight of stairs; I was not offered assistance with my bags. The room had a twin bed. The width of the room would have barely fit a double bed. Locaton is good, 24 hour desk is useful, breakfast is good.

Nice place overall. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was decent. My biggest complaint is that the beds are very hard, but that seems normal in Europe. They only give you one scrawny pillow per person, but were happy to give me another when requested. The location was excellent. Close to the Grand Canal and vaporetto stops, and St. Mark's Square and there were a lot of restaurants close by.

We really enjoyed the hotel except for one thing - the airconditioner is programmed to only switch on when the outside temperature reaches 25 degrees... which it wasn't. But in our rooms it was 35 degrees or more and we had no form of cooling. The windows couldn't be opened because of the noise and the air-con wouldn't work - this led to fairly uncomfortable nights. Management, a strong suggestion - you need to remedy this!

It is so easy to get to the Hotel Commercio & Pellegrino Venice from the vaporetto stop at San Zaccaria. It is possible to walk all over Venice from here. The hotel was very nice, the rooms a little old fashioned but the bathrooms updated. We would definitely go there again.

This is an excellent Hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good and they served tea and cakes between 16.30 and 17.30. We used the No 1 water bus which delivered us to the nearest point, the Hotel is then a two minute walk. We would happily use the Hotel Commercio & Pellegrino Venice again.

After a long journey by train from Scotland the staff gave us a great welcome and wothout asking, changed our room, so that we did not have to climb any stairs. Staff were very freindly and helpful at all times - most impressed. The room was spotless and had all the necessary ingredients for a comfortable stay. The location was superb, next to St Mark's square. The cols breakfast was more than adequate. Thanks

We found the hotel to be excellent, the only negative comment we could make would be that there was no provisions for tea or coffee in the rooms either from room service or equipment for self service in the rooms, other than that we had an excellent stay and would retur and recommend the Hotel Commercio & Pellegrino Venice to other people.

I have been to Venice three times in the past and I would recommend the Hotel Commercio & Pellegrino Venice above all the previous hotels I have stayed at in Venice, for quality, value and location. Our family group consisted of nine adults and one four year old child and one infant. I look forward to staying at this hotel again.

Commercio e Pellegrino is located very close to St Zacaria Vapporeto Stop (just 50 meters accross the stop), so you don't have to juggle with your luggage trhough the bridges. The hotel is very quiet, clean, also with new amenities. Staffs are very nice and helpfull, I asked some questions for direction and they provide useful information with maps too. Very recommended and would like to come back when I visit Venice again. From thr Vienna Airport at Marco Polo you can take a Buss to Piazza Rome and then take vapporeto (1 or 82) to St. Zacaria.
