The entire aura of the hotel is one of the Bate's Motel. The room is small, such that you cannot unpack a bag and get into bed at the same time. There were no washcloths in the bath, the shower was plugged and there was no Internet. A complaint produced an offer to upgrade at an additional cost to their suite. The only saving grace was a fairly decent breakfast, other than that this place is to be avoided at all costs. There is no value, no way it deserves a 4 star rating and the travel website should be shamed in even suggesting it. Apparently there is a great monetary incentive!

The room was very small but considering the price that we paid, it was alright. Given the fact that you go to your room just to sleep, it didn't really matter. The location is fantastic. It is 2 mins walk from the termini station which helped me to save a lot of time. The front desk staff was friendly and spoke good english. The breakfast was good. If you want to stay in a hotel with great value and basic comfort this would be a good choice.

1) Poor quality hotel for the prices that you are paying. 2)Poor staff response to issues you have in the hotel. 3)Small room compared to what was on the web-site. 4)Movement from the kitchen area at 7 o'clock in the moring very noisey in room 612. 5)No veiw from the window only looking on to a fire escape stairs 6)Poor quality shower facilities as the shower used to go hot then cold every five seconds which made it impossible to shower, plus the shower door was broken.

OK hotel. Convenient location for station and sightseeing. Breakfast wasn't great - not sure how it got four stars!

Le stanze non erano insonorizzate. L'ascensore andava a singhiozzo.

This is not a good property for the hot summer months. Air conditioning is insufficient for the hot Rome climate. Rooms are small; the breakfast is good; location near Termini is good.

Good hotel,in a great place, near Termini station, just few steps.Easy to reach by train from Fiumicino airport. The room was not too large but elegant and clean. The most important places in Rome are easy to reach.Breakfast was not too various, but good for the price that I paied.I'll come back there.

Venere price is very good. The breakfast was very poor: the food was at the lowest quality possible in Italy. Breakfast personnel not polite. Scarce maintenance. The corridor in front of my room was covered by air powder.

I was very pleased with the people who worked at the hotel. I found them to be very friendly and helpful in many ways. I also liked where we were located. We were near all the sites plus the train was so convenient.

We had booked in Champagne Palace but upon arriving they told us that the hotel was fully booked so they sent us to Champagne Palace Garden. So our review is for Champagne Palace Garden! We consider ourselves very lucky as Champagne Palace Garden appeared to us a far better hotel situated in a far better area of the city

Good value for it's location near the central station (about 5 minutes walk). The cheapest that we can find in Rome with 4-star level. Room is small but clean. Cold buffet breakfast provided. Would recommend it to all budget travellers.

The hotel is located only a few minutes away from the trainstation and subway. 20 minutes walk to the center. Area around trainstation seems to be rough. The rooms are very clean and nice, just a little bit small. Althoug we stayed in the sixth floor - it was still very loud. Compared to the other hotels offerd on the web page (for Rome) - Champagne Palace was quiet cheap.

The only blatant error the staff made was assigning us to a room that was already taken, so you could imagine our surprise when we walked in on someone in their room. The staff was good though. Location was OK, close to Termini, but far from everything else. Facility is nice and clean.

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Easy to find and great location. Only about a 2 minute walk from the main train station. During our stay we walked everywhere and it took roughly 15 minutes to get to all the major attractions. Fantastic value for money.
