Its story began in 1565 when a family of the aristocratic Dogi built a villa at the foot of Mount Portofino. Many years later after the Villa had passed from heir to heir it was bought by the noble family of Emilio De Ferrari and they transformed the estate first into a park and then in 1956 to a hotel; The Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi. The views from the hotel are spectacular and can be enjoyed from the private beach; terrace bar and restaurant. Tennis courts and an outdoor sea water swimming pool with solarium complete the picture.
