With its convenient location just outside of the city center, the Hotel Cascada is a good hotel in Lucerne for a wide variety of visitors. It is just minutes (on foot) to the KKL and Lucerne Museum complex as well as the downtown shopping and dining venues. It is also just minutes to the History and Natural History Museums, the Chapel Bridge, the Picasso Museum and the Old Town district too. A fifteen to twenty minute stroll will also bring the visitor the Lion Memorial and Bourbaki Panorama as well. The Hotel Cascada is located at Bundesplatz 18 and is roughly one mile from the railway station and the primary tourist pier.
