Rooms are detached from the hotel activity center making it unplesant when walking from the room to the restaurant and other facilities in the rain. Hotel will not provide a receipt when checking out when reservations are booked through an agency or other provider.

Free late checkout was awesome. Halls had a slight mild smell. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was nice with both a 9ft. end to swim in and a 2' end for kids. The staff helped with directions as well as, were accommodating when we had asked to checkout later. Would recommend.

The Hotel Carlisle is a wonderful value. We travel a lot and this was a lot of bang for our buck. The steakhouse was great and the pool was very large and nice for an indoor pool. Only negative...flat pillows, but I can live with that.

The room was very clean, grounds are beautiful, the pool was nice but the jacuzzi needed a lot of work, we were disrupted twice by the staff because the chemicals weren't correct. Meeting rooms are huge, we recommend.

The hotel was not bad. It was a bit dumpier than the pictures show. The pictures make it seem amazing, not so much. Over all it wasn't bad. I prefer a marriot. The pool was big! It was warm and nice.

We really enjoyed our stay because of the pool and the adjoining rooms. The beds were a little on the uncomfortable side.

The room was spacious, with a few minor problems......carpet torn, mirror cracked on closet door, toilet did not flush great, but the pool made up for everything.....The kids loved the 9 ft deep end, with plenty of room to jump and play.....heated like a bath tub. The whole pool area was very warm, but the walk to the pool was a little cold, be sure to wear a cover up. We would go back for the pool.

A/C leaked and left rug wet 3 feet into room. Dust on rugs and edges of furniture had been there awhile. Halls smelled badly and outside maintenance was lacking. Was supposedly just renovated. Went told front desk about wet rug...she explained..that sometimes AC does that..

Beautiful lobby and restaurant. The AC was loud and the rooms didn't smell fresh. Minus: Uncomfortable rooms with a musty smell and loud outdated AC unit. Entrance to rooms separate from lobby entrance in a creepy locale. Plus: Friendly staff, beautiful restaurant and lobby.

Bring your own pillow! The pillows at the hotel are as thin as paper. We literally had to sleep with our arms under them for support. The beds are hard, took Ibuprofin first thing in the morning! The ceiling was rough, bathtub not sufficiently cleaned from the previous person staying in the room. Towel and bed linens were stained. Room was very spacious and staff very friendly, but don't be deceived by the very nice hotel lobby. All in all, for the money spent, it was ok for a one night stay, but we would not stay again nor recommend to anyone.

Outstanding hotel for the price and location. I will go back and stay there again! Food at the restaurant was great. The service in the hotel was great! Very clean rooms and the house keeping service was outstanding. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Pool. Cleanliness and accommodating. When we went to the hotel they did not have any adjoining rooms. When I pulled my sheets down for the first night, there was dried stain on the sheets. I called down stairs to ask for clean sheets and it took them 20 min to get them to me. When the housekeeper showed up she said that she could not make the bed due to, back problems. I had to make me own bed! I was not satisfied with this hotel and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel itself was very nice. HUGE, clean room with a nice little sitting table. The bed was sort of hard for my taste, but my husband loved it. The heavy, light darkening window treatments were great for light sensitive sleepers like me. The best part was that the room was on a single floor, which meant no noisy walking over your head at 3 AM. Good sound proofing all around. Overall, it was a good experience. The only bad thing was that there was no continental breakfast. I would have never booked this hotel had I realized that. There is a restaurant on site, but it looked expense. We didn't check it out. Also, I was under the impression that Harrisburg was closer to Hershey than it was. It was a 20 mile drive each way to Hershey. That meant 45 mins. during rush hour traffic. On the bright side, if you were going to the Carlise Car Show, the hotel is only 4 miles from that site.

Lobby was nice....Staff not very friendly esp the older gentleman that checked us in at 9.30 pm. BUSY truckers intersection...Bad traffic at night.........As soon as we entered the long hallway where our room was, a very very bad old musty,.mildew smell...The Pool was warn and nice... Agree with other people room were large but so so out of date!!!!!!

The Hotel Carlisle was comfortable and had all the extra's including indoor pool, spa, dining, refigerator, and microwave. The location was great off I-81.

The hotel security was great because often travel with my kids w/o my husband and am always concerned about the security. The room was missing the desk in the room, so I didn't have the space to set up my laptop. I was really surprised at level of cleanliness of the overall hotel, customer service the personnel exhibited, and level of security at the facility. The facility is family oriented and the kids can find something to entertain themselves- the indoor pool, fitness center, or the billiard.

The lobby is very nice. Staff needs to be a little friendlier. The room was out of date and the fixtures old, but clean for the most part. The advertisement said they had a sauna however that was not working. The pool was good size but it took two phone calls and a half an hour to get towels for the pool area. Since it was close to time for check out we used the chaning area/bathroom by the pool. The toilets looked like they hadn't been flushed in a week and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month.
