| Very poor service, welcoming as bad as possible, rooms are OK but small and very simple. the road between the hotel and the sea is a real nuisance. No interrest at all |

| just one think you said choose betweeen the view of the sea and the garden you forgoten to told us between the sea and the hotel it's a litoral big road where the traffic was very bad not in the saiason we where but att the hot saison it will be terrible P.Manez |

| The hotel is located outside Roses in a lovely bay with easily accessible walks and beachside dining. We picked rooms with a non-beach view, choosing to spend our money on meals, and so we had some street noise, but the tradeoff was well worth it as we ate well and didn't miss the views since we were out exploring all day every day! We were able to park on the street with no difficulty (in May) and enjoyed the convenience and quality of the breakfast each day. We would definitely stay at the Hotel Canyelles Platja Roses again! |

| We have known the " Canyelles Platja " from eating out in our former holidays, when we stayed in a flat. It was now for the first time that we stayed in the hotel and we were not disappointed.We liked it very much and we hope we will be able to return in the following year! |

| Enjoyed our stay there - not really walking distance from centre of Roses. One major problem is car parking. Hotel has small underground facility - additional charge approx 9 to 12 Euros per day - with limited availability. Suggest book space before arriving. On street parking a nightmare!! |

| We were very disappointed in our stay. The air-conditioning was not working. We were told it was because the air had just been turned on which was very doubtful as we live in Spain and it has been very warm for several weeks. The receptionis said it should be cooled by morning. It never was and we spent several nights not being able to sleep. We also expected the mini bar to be stocked and it was not even turned on. Took 24 hours to cool. There was no place to park when we arrived. Because of the location and locals parking to use the beach it was very difficult to find a place. There was some damage to out hire care from leaving it on the street. We thought the Hotel Canyelles Platja Roses would be closer to the center of Roses so that we could have a better choice of restaurants. All in all we were very disappointed. I had hoped to use Venere again as we are going to do a lot of traveling while we are here in Spain for the next several years. |
