Hotel Cà Formenta, opened April 2003, is located in Via Garibaldi, pulsating heart of the Venetian life, one block from the Biennale of Visual Arts and only 10 minutes from St.Mark’s Square. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, safety deposit box, minibar and hairdryer; some rooms enjoy a breathtaking view to the lagoon. In the Via Garibaldi are located the typical Trattoria ‘Al Garanghelo’ and ‘Al Giorgione’ whose owner, Lucio Bisutto is a famous venetian singer, and most of the time he sings for the Clients, the Restaurant ‘Al Galeon’ with very good fish and seafood; nearby, along the canal ‘Rio di Sant’Isepo’ the ‘Hostaria da Franz’, excellent small Restaurant with tables on the canal side, fresh fish and seafood, and a well furnished wine cellar; only few minutes' away are also the Restaurant ‘Corte Sconta’ and ‘Al Covo’. For those who loves Pizza, the Pizzeria ‘Ai Tosi Grandi’ in Seco Marina only 5 minutes' walk, and the ‘Nuova Perla’ just outside the Hotel door to the right.
