2day trip in ParisBooked the superior double room, arrived and were told they had given out all the double rooms at the start of the week and therefore we would have to have a room with two single and just push them together if we wanted to. Little bit disappointing as it seemed unfair that we had booked yet other people took our room. Bit of a joke really, When i asked if it would be cheaper, he said it was actually dearer but would give it to me for the original price...I dont know if I believe that!Other than that, very helpful with direction... room was clean, shower grand, good location.

Absolutely unfriendly staff. They can look at you outside the door and live you out if you forget the access code of the door and all they have to do is push the button. The room is microscopic and gets cold by the morning

Perfect for what we were afterMe and my boyfriend stayed at the hotel boissiere for a week in june. The hotel was great for what we needed. I wouldnt reccomend it for family holidays but if you just want somewhere to get your head down of an evening its perfect. The metro is less then a 5 min walk away and its very easy to work out how to get around with the lines being colour coded. Down the street where the hotel is, there is a bakers, pharmacy, a couple of restuarnts and a clothing store. On our first day we travelled to the effiel tower and it took us only 15mins by train to get there. Paris is a beautiful place, only advice would be its very expensive! If i went back to Paris i would stay here again.

Would recommendClean, functional, friendly, good value hotel. Whole room was very compact but then you get waht you pay for. 5 min walk to Metro. Seemed like a good safe area with shops and big supermarket nearby. I would recommend if you dont mind small rooms!

Great touristic hotelI was really impressed with the offered quality of this touristic hotel. This is a real bargain in Paris, having nice, clean rooms (cleaned everyday) and very convinient location (20 mins to the city center by underground, 5 mins to L'Eclerc by walk) in the nice calm area. The only disadvantage I can point was a very small bathroom, with even smaller shower cabin.

Excellent Value for MoneyIf you're looking to do Paris on a budget (well as far as you can do Paris on a budget) then this is the hotel for you! The hotel itself is only a 5 minute walk from the Louis Michel metro station. Upon arrival the staff were very polite and helpful, and continued to be so throughout our stay. The room was big enough, and had a clean en suite. It is perfect for people who only really want somewhere to rest their heads on a night - although I advise that you make use of the ear-plugs provided, it can get a bit noisy.

The hotel was basic but always clean and we didnt have any issues. One point of improvement could be the friendliness of the staff, one seemed quite rude however saying that, we also had another gentleman who was very helpful. I think it is a little pricy but then again most of france is very pricy too. Hotel is 5 minutes from metro station and there is a large market and restaurants near by. Altogether i thought the hotel was fair, nothing special but not bad.

Hotel Boissière is located approximately 5-10 minutes walk from Louise Michel metro station, just beyond the Boulevard Périphérique in the north east of Paris. The location is pleasant and relatively quiet, with a midnight return to the hotel feeling neither unsafe nor unsavoury.The accommodation is very basic, but clean, comfortable, fairly well soundproofed and relatively modern. This city is notorious for the compactness of its hotel rooms, and Hotel Boissière is no exception: the 10ft x 10ft single room in which I stayed had just about enough room for the (very firm) bed, bedside table, shower, basin, toilet and suitcase stowage. Notable is the lack of an in-room telephone and nod towards desk space or a chair, although the free hotel-wide WiFi proved useful.I had no problems checking in or with any of the hotel staff, though - as with most Parisians - learning to speak "un petit peu de leur langue" is guaranteed to get you a long way. Breakfast was welcoming, though perhaps not quite as extensive as may have been expected.Travellers should be aware of the following two points in particular:• There is a lift within the building; however, access is from the landings halfway between each floor. You will therefore have to negotiate a half-flight of stairs at each end of your ascent.• In the single rooms, the "bathroom" is left open to the rest of the room, with the foot of the bed and toilet separated only by a waist-high wooden divider. For most single travellers, this will be fine; however, if you don't like the idea of going to the toilet or showering in front of your bedroom window where the net curtains are not full-length, then booking a double room might be a better option.In short, a great hotel with easy access to the sights of Paris and exceptionally well-priced, but definitely catered towards someone looking for no more than a basic bed for a few nights.

When I reached the hotel, the receptionist was having chit chat with some of his friend and he didn't give me attention at all for few minutes, as a customer you expect attention first over the receptionist friend. I paid for my breakfast but in the morning i was told that i haven't, then after a small argument and bill verification I had my breakfast which was very basic and the bread seemed expired there. Room was clean and OKay, location is good. Overall this hotel is value for the money.

this a freindly, nice, cleam and welcoming hotel..I would recommend this hotel as its cheap, free wifi,b/fast is 5euro and its 25 minutes walk away from effel tower... there are also shops and nice restaurants near by..

all round good apart from the kitchen was being upgraded so we had to go elsa where for breakfast. The rooms are basic nowhere for unpacking your clothes, the lift dosent go to floor 5. And do not get a taxi from the hotel to the airport we were told it would cost 25euros by the hotel but in the end it cost us 45euros.

Chep hotel with a good location. Fairly close to the subway, clean an overall allright. Small rooms with perhaps even smaller bathrooms, but you get what you pay for!

Out of the centre but easily accesible by Metro. Newly renovated room and en-suite shower/WC. Breakfast is 4 euros and good value. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is quite close to the tube station and only 20 minutes away from the heart of Paris. We had booked a double room but the receptionist gave us a twin bed room, because there was nothing else available at the moment. We insisted for a double room and finally we got it half an hour later. Generally, our room was clean, with TV and hot water. There was no elevator but the hotel was redecorated and refurnished.

la atencion de la recepcion fue muy buena, lo unico que el desayuno se sirve muy temprano, lo cual no esta mal asi empiezas el dia mas temprano.o como en nuesto caso debiamos ir al aeropueto temprano y vino bien el desayuno antes de salir.
