East to West BerlinThe hotel was very clean and most of the staff very friendly and helpful, one receptionist even checked on the train time for us to get to the airport. It was a great location for the site seeing that we wanted to do. You could leave your bags with the porter before and after check in / out at no charge.

The hotel is immaculate. Air conditioning, great location. Quiet. Package deal with Cheaptickets was fantastic!!! Very happy with our flight with United.

this is a great hotel for the price. it is centrally located, bus stop right in front of the hotel, walking distance to the zoo (and all train/subway/bus stops). my only complaint is that on Orbitz this hotel was advertised as an entirely smoke free hotel which is clearly not the case. we were stuck in a smoking room our first night was all the other non-smoking rooms were booked.

Good high level hotel. Negative sides: late check-in (15-00); expencive breakfast (22 EUR p.p.), rather far from metro (apr.10 min. walk), but very good impressions in common.

Late night food brought to my room looked like left over food. Not fresh, poor presentation.Surprised to find no decaffeinated coffee in rooms, only available at bar.Liked and used the facilities - gym, sauna.Great location. Will certainly book again.

Friendly service, quiet. Great sized room that was spotlessly clean. All desk personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was eay to walk to most shopping and easy to catch cabs from. Very close to Tiergarten and all embassies.

Excellent clean facilities and rooms. Reception staff outstandingly polite and helpful. Breakfast was superb - everything you can imagine was available. The choice was endless. Probably the best hotel I have stayed in.

Good car park, but expensive. Hotel was very business orientated and the main areas were full of people at the exhibition so nowhere comfortable to sit or get a drink in the daytime

Hotel Berlin is a much ritzier place than I thought it would be. The room was large and spacious. The LCD TV in the room featured the English language CNBC channel ammong others so I could watch in real time how the stock markets in the US were performing just as if I was at home. The lobby featured a chic bar and restaurant as well.

Quite nice room breakfast very big and good. Good communications via buses right outside the hotel. Will choose a hotel more central next time in Berlin.

The location of the hotel is good with the nearest U-Bahn station a five minute (brisk) walk away. The room was well-sized and good for the price we paid, but disappointingly lacked tea & coffee making facilities. Another disappointment was that the Sports Bar wasn't open at all whilst we were there - which was a shame as it was recommended in the guide book.It's a large hotel that seems to host a lot of business conventions, so the reception area and foyer were quite crowded at times.

Would stay in this hotel again and would recommend to others ,we only had two negatives,there was a major renovation ongoing in the reception/lobby and eventhough it was at an advanced stage I believe it would be fair to notify guests at time of booking. We also placed an alarm call for 7 am on the morning of our departure but did not get it, fortunately we woke in any event. In fairness I think this was probably due to ongoing works as mentioned. However the overall experience was very positive.

The Hotel is well positioned between the "Sony Centre" and Berlin wall parts of the city (5 - 15 min walk) and the City centre and shops (about 5 min walk). Whilst we were there some renovation was taking place which was a bit dissapointing at times (I go to a Hotel to relax not listen to builders). Although disruption was kept to a minimum and should now have been completed.

Fantastic and rich breakfast, very friendly staff, spacious rooms with every possible facility, clean and quiet, 7 minutes walk from Nollendorfplatz Metro station (3 metro lines), reasonable price. Very good Hotel. I recommend it.

The room was very large but furbish were a bit old but still usefull. It isn't close to subway and it takes long time to reach mitte from this one. Breakfast is good and with a good fish selection.

The room was very big and spacious which is a nice change - the staff were not all that friendly but not unpleasant - the bed was comfortable. Location wise a little out of the way but not too bad
