The 4-star Hotel Bayerischer Hof is located in the centre of the old/ yet ever-young university city of Erlangen and is an oasis of tranquillity and relaxation with an exclusive personal touch. With a total of 156 rooms/ the hotel Bayerischer Hof boasts a distinct and cosmopolitan ambient and enjoys a wide reputation as conference/ business and holiday hotel. 1982 –1984 Converted and rebuilt to create a new international hotel. Since 1984 there have been 159 rooms/ various conference and function facilities/ and a restaurant. 1 July 2007 - Taken over by B and R Hotel management GmbH and Co. KG. The entire lodging and restaurant area was modernised along with the rooms and bathrooms/ the outer facade was renovated and the reception and exterior areas redesigned. September 2010 -Hotel purchased by HV II Hotelverwaltung GmbH/ which is part of the Steinkogler Group.
