The Hotel Balm is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Cleanliness and comfort were outstanding. Hospitality and service by the staff is unmatched. The food was excellent fromt he breakfast buffet to dinner in the restaurant. The Hotel Balm was the cleanest and quietest hotel we have ever been in. Parking at the hotel was easy. Transportation to downtown Lucerne was simple with the bus stop directly in front of the hotel it was a twelve minute ride downtown. Excellent Hotel and place to visit.

This hotel is ideal for those visiting areas besides/including Lucerne. It has a private parking lot-- only 5 minutes from downtown Lucerne parking areas. Wireless internet is available in all rooms, and VERY PROFESSIONAL laundry service is available at a reasonable cost. The restaurant has wonderful food, breakfast included in room cost. Courtesy of the staff-- wonderful. This is an ideal, reasonably-priced hotel for those desiring to stay close to, but not in, Lucerne.
