Hotel Bahia Serena

The Bahia Serena apartment complex enjoys a central location, and is only separated from a long sandy beach by the promenade. The immediate vicinity offers a diverse range of shopping facilities, bars and restaurants, as well as links to public transport (around 100 m away). Malaga Airport is around 180 km from the hotel.

Opened in 1992 and renovated in 2003, the 7-storey Bahia Serena Hotel comprises a total of 224 apartments. A glass foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, lifts and hotel safes await guests upon arrival.

Guests may chose to dine in the air-conditioned la carte restaurant (highchairs for infants provided and a non-smoking area available) or enjoy a drink in the caf or bar. Further facilities include shops and a hairdressing salon, as well as a TV lounge, games room and a public Internet terminal.

Furthermore, a laundry service is provided as well as a kids' club and a children's playground for younger guests. Guests may park their cars in the car park or garage.

The pleasing apartments (from 45 up to 70 m2) are air-conditioned and include an en suite bathroom, a direct dial telephone, a satellite TV and a kitchenette with a fridge. A combined living room/bedroom, 1 or 2 separate bedrooms (king-size bed), central heating and a hire safe also feature. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed on a daily basis. The apartments also include a terrace, which measures from 11 to 20 m2. All rooms have sea views.

The outdoor complex features a freshwater swimming pool with a separate children's section and a poolside snack bar, as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. An indoor pool is also on offer, featuring a sauna, steam room and gym facilities.

A massage service may also provide guests with some well needed relaxation. Sports options include aerobics, table tennis, beach volleyball and bocce. Tennis and pool/snooker can also be played here for an extra charge. A seasonal entertainment programme provides variation for guests. Fans of the fairway can head over to the nearest golf course, which is just 500 m away.

Guests are served buffets for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Lunch and dinner may also be taken la carte. Alternatively, lunch options may be selected from a set menu. Special dietary requirements are also catered for and requested dishes can be prepared.
