Relax on the terrace with a glass of wine from the cellar and a book from the library. It is a book-crossing centre and in its well-stocked library can find lots of art books, guides, and novels. The bar offers biological products, rich wine and coffee assortments. It has a free internet access. The hotels pays a particular attention to an attentive separation between smoking and non-smoking areas, especially with regard to the rooms. The concierge will advise the places where to go to eat, will book guided tours and excursions in Florence and in Tuscany, will book the museums.

The hotel is situated 100 m from the Florence train station Santa Maria Novella and close to the Duomo (cathedral) and Central market. The historical center of Florence is walking distance from the hotel.

On the ground floor there are 4 very confortable rooms of different colour, decorated with antique or particular forniture (the Superior rooms). The rooms have been renovated. A selection of books, records or special aromas is available on request: one suite has a Jacuzzi. On the first floor there are 12 large standard rooms with private bathrooms, most of them facing a quiet courtyard. On the second floor there are other 18 rooms in the annexed hotel Marine, all with bathroom. Each one is particular and different from one other; they are furnished with antique and vintage pieces.

The guests can enjoy their free time in the library, with books on art, guide books on Florence, Tuscany and Italy in general, literature and fiction in several languages open to all guests, may be with a good glass of wine.
