The service was very friendly, the rooms were clean and updated, they had a free social hour in the evening, a nice hot breakfast, free internet in the rooms and clean lobby with computers and free internet. The pool is medium sized and clean. The only downside, was the floor boards above us (we were on the 1st floor) were extremely noisy. If they fixed those it would be nice and quiet. We will definitely stay there again. It's also in walking distance to the downtown area.

The paint colors and decor were excellent.

The ladies at the front desk were amazing. Lisa and Patricia (hope I got those right!) were just fantastic. Every step of the way they were extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. The suite was brilliant, very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Ideal spot. Not a bad thing to say!

The hotel is older and not the nicest, but the staff really try to go the extra mile. Our faucet dripped and the room was dated. The train also goes by regularly, but it wasn't very noticeable inside the room. The pool was well kept and busy, the hot tub & exercise room were small, but in good order. The staff was very outgoing. They even make waffles for you at breakfast (to go along with a nice spread). I heard happy hour was nice, but we didn't make it as we were at the Canyon.

Nothing! It was terrible. Stains on mattress. Trains going all night long. Do not stay here. I looked it up on trip adviser and thought it would be OK. My kids were scared to sleep on their bed because I pulled the sheets back to check the mattress and their was a giant like a 6 x 6 stain! We arrived late at 2 am driving in from Texas. There was no place else to go or we would have. The kids ended up sleeping in the bed with us. (our bed was clean) Then just as we lay down, the trains started. I was waiting for the bed to start moving across the floor like we were in an I Love Lucy episode or something! Don't stay here. There are nicer places closer to the grand canyon.

Great desk clerk, noisy (because of train closeby), A/C nneded to be unplugged to turn off, A/C plug filthy. Nice TV in big room, but none in bedroom. Will probably give this place another try..think there's potential. Office has nice internet facilities.

Staff on the whole was congenial, breakfast atmosphere and food was good. Besides the walls being too thin, the bed was uncomfortable. The location was great. I was most dissatisfied with the noise (baby crying) from the next room. Breakfast atmosphere and food was above the average selections and food was fresh with the attendant being extremely friendly and kept the room very clean.

Staff was great very helpful. The room was quiet even though near the train tracks. Was close to everything. We were pleased with our stay.

My girlfriend came in for her 40th birthday so we made a trip through Flag, the Canyon and Sedona. Our first night was at this MOTEL that was advertised as a hotel. We got in late in the evening and noticed dust on everything, the bathroom was just gross and old, the mirror wasn't clean, the fridge didn't work, the door had 1" gaps all the way around and THE TRAIN was chooo chooing. I mean seriously this place was a hot mess. Us girls made the most of it but we wore our flip flops in the shower and we had to rig the bathroom window since it didn't have a lock on it and it opened to an alley. The beds were comfortable and that is the only saving grace with this bates motel. Very scary and we will NOT stay here again... obviously.

Staff offered upgraded room because it was our anniversary, that was very kind. We were in an old room that hasn't been redone so our opinion is a little biased.

For the star rating, this motel lived up to it's standard. Good price, clean room, plenty of cable channels, pleasant continental breakfast, a big plus was we did not have our laptop and there were computers availible. Yes the train was noisy but overall it was a good motel.

I liked the staff and the social hour, as well as the mini fridge. Also the toiletries were bath and body works which was great! Wasn't a fan of the hot breakfast, would have preferred a bagel and cream cheese. I was very happy with my choice of hotel. The Aspen inn suits was a good location close to snow bowl and down town. I loved that they had a social hour and the staff are very nice and friendly. The hot breakfast was not to my liking, eggs tasted funny and the ham seemed to be lunch meat that they just cooked. All in all the room was comfortable and the service great. I would definitely stay again.

CARE is a 4 letter gospel word at this location. while the rooms were not the cleanest I've seen, they were quick to make things as right as they could and the beds where new and A+++++ pillow tops. Tiny Jacuzzi and pool closed when I was there. Complimentry Hot Breakfest buffet with personal service along with complementry wine and beer hour for hotel guests daily. I'd take this place over many of the downtown Chicago Michigan Ave hotels anyday for service !!!!!

Comfortable rooms, great breakfast andawesome staff. Not a lot of privacy, need curtains that can be drawn over windows. I stay at this hotel for a short romantic getaway. I couldn't have been more pleased with my choice. We stayed in an executive suite and was very pleased with the furnishings and the space. The bed was extremely comfortable and the huge breakfast buffet was a nice surprise.

Older hotel with a great staff. Rooms are tiny and need updating, badly. My 3 star rating is strictly due to the courteous staff, free breakfast and free Wifi, but I didn't get much rest the 1 night I stayed due to the noisy rooms and the train which is right across the street which blows its whistle everytime it comes through, even at 2am. I actually paid for a 2nd night, but opted to go home rather than suffer another night of bad sleep.
