Decent price, but not the best value for money. The best is location. Nothing more than average B&B, not the best quality. Average service, no surprises. The room was worn-out. Honestly I did not expect such an average hotel in Finland (I have visited Finland 7-8 times before that).

I've stayed at this hotel before and found it reasonable for the price, comfortable and well located. In my last stay, the bathroom was extremely dirty -- seems like it had not been cleaned in months. My wife hesitated taking a shower. Seems like the hotel is going downhill, I don't recommend this hotel any more. I hope they get their act together and return to their previous service level.

The reception staff were unhelpful and had a poor attitude. The rooms were smelly and very dirty and incredibly small. The food at breakfast was awful. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying in this hotel.

Decent hotel, good location for the train station and links to the airport. I had stayed there in 2005, so I knew what to expect this time in 2009. I would stay there again.

No complaints, comfortable, convenient. The only thing would be free wi-fi instead of paying 8 euros a day. otherwise very happy and would return.

It is an old hot el, 100 years, and we had a problem with the TV which they did't work at very hard. I think 3star accomkodation in Finldand is more expensive than Europe mainland. There wasn't much available at that price.

Very good middle class hotel with good location. Close to Metro station, railway station, and buses to the airport. Also close to museums and shopping fascilities.

I was very happy with the whole setup and would recommend it to anyone. I, Henk Bierman, member of your Hotel Club, was booked in by Jan and he forwarded the above to me. I became a member on the day this booking was made, but for some unknown reason it went through Jan's membership. I also booked the Bishop Lei International House Hong Kong, later through my own membership (27 Aug-31 Aug). I also recommended the Club to my son Martin.

Good hotel with which we had only one problem. Non-smoking room was requested and we were given one on a non-smoking floor. Room smelt quite noticeably of cigarette smoke. We opened the window and that helped. Alerted Reception who apologised. We asked if housekeeping could use room freshener the next morning which they did and this further helped. Would stay there again if in Helsinki. It was walking distance from bus & train stations, waterfront and central city.

Arthur Hotel is at an excellent location with 5 mins walk to train station and the shops. The hotel staffs are very helpful and the breakfast is good. The only thing is the wireless internet should be free for all customers, I think.

Reception friendly, breakfast good. Room basically OK but bathroom and some fittings in poor condition. Bathroom also very small. No minibar, internet only at extra cost.

Nice hotel not so close to the Railway Station. Very friendly staff could recommend to anyone for the you pay. Breakfast was okay and the restaurant is good.
