We had wonderful 4 days in Istanbul. Staff was excellent and friendly. The view from terrace impossible to explain this feeling. You should go to hotel and see all. And share your feeling with other people.

We have stayed in a number of the small city hotels in Istanbul for short breaks. The Armagrandi Spina is very much the same as most city hotels of the same style however the staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. It is very close to the Sultan Ahmet mosque and a very good location for sight seeing the Sultan Ahmet area of the city.

dissapointingWe were dissappointed by the hotel in general and the room we were given it was nothing like the picture displayed in fact that was not of the hotel at all!! the rooms were dim, grim and not pleasnt. the plug switches were dangerous and could not be used the bath was not for anyone with any type of mobility problem and that includes sunburnt legs. as it was a large drop to the floor when climbing in and out. the breakfast was poor and ran out well before the time they stopped serving so get there early! the views were incredible and if you want to stay in Sulthanamet this location is great but dont expect much of the hotel!! the staff were mostly friendly though.

Good overall experienceThe hotel was ideally located with excellent views from the rooftop terrace. The rooms a little on the small size, however clean bathroom and good tidy condition overall. Staff were helpful and friendly. One member of staff detracted from the experience quite significantly...overcharging for drinks and putting his hand out for a tip every five seconds. However the rest of the staff were a delight. I feel that the overall pricing for this hotel (as per all other comparible hotels in this area) is too high. I don't believe in paying London prices for a lower graded hotel in Istanbul. The breakfast also left something to be desired.

Great room, wonderful welcomeThe room was light and airy, with an excellent bathroom. We particularly appreciated the welcoming bottle of wine and the cleanliness which was evident throughout. Staff were very helpful and cheerful.
