This hotel is a good choice for people wanting to visit Rome but not wanting to pay the expensive price of the hotels near the attractions. Hotel Arcadia is a short bus and metro ride away from everything there is to see. If you arrive from the Ciampino Airport buy a bus ticket (1,20 euro) to the Anagnina station. When you arrive there you can get on bus 507, which will take you to stop San Basile, right beside the hotel. If you are not sure what to do you can take a taxi ride for 12 euros. The front desk clerk can sell you tickets for 1 bus and 1 metro ride for 1 euro, or 4euro for a full days pass. It takes about an hour to get from the hotel to the center of Rome, but it is well worth it. The hotel can hold your bags for you if you arrive too early, or want to check out and still go into the city. There is also a small supermarket behind the hotel where you can purchase drinks/food. I would definitly recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to see Rome but was on a budget. I am very picky about where I stay, but I felt very safe in this hotel.
