The hotel has recently been renovated (2008)and modernised, and now has 81 newly furnished rooms of which 22 are large family rooms. The Hotel is situated in a quiet oneway street, 3 min. walk from the central Railway station, DGI, Øksnehallen, near Scala, Tivoli, The Townhall Square and Strøget. Many P-places in front of the hotel. How to find Hotel Ansgar Having left the customs at Copenhagen Airport, continue straight ahead and below the clock you will find the DSB-office selling train tickets. Trains leave several times every hour and the ride takes 20 min. to Copenhagen Central Station. When you leave the train walk up the large steel staircase leading to Tietgensgade. Once you are on the street, face the Central Station Building and then walk to your left down Tietgensgade for about 100 meters to Colbjørnsensgade. Turn right and you will see the sign of Hotel Ansgar. The walk should take approx. 3 - 4 minutes from the train station.
