The place was ok, the room was a lot smaller than i expected, pretty much just enough room for the bed. Quite homely though. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location was very good.

The location was not near the train station as they make it to look (especially if you are carrying luggage) in the first place. So you can imagine how we felt after hauling ourselves there, they told us that the bathroom was broken and we have to go to a sister location. This location was considerably far from the station and other attractions. Can't begin to describe the snail like unsafe elevator and the smelly room and the long walk from every location etc etc. They gave us a 10 euro discount to cover for the cab ride from this location to the new one - it cost me 15. Of course they won't pay for the cab ride from there to the other places and eventually to the station. Overall unhappy experience!!!

Bon accueil, surtout la très sympathique personne qui servait le petit déjeuner. Accès facile de la gare et cependant pas trop éloigné du centre historique, quartier calme.

Location of the Hotel Andrea is very good (not far from the railway station and near the historic centre). Employees at the reception were very friendly. Our room was too big for us, but a buthroom was extremely small.

Very nice staff. Lovely room. Great selection for breakfast. I had booked a single but was given a very nice double with a nice view of city. Unfortunately,my room was close to reception so could hear all conversations. Also could hear people walking across floor in room above as wooden floors, could do with noise insulation as the noise does carry in this building. This is a shame as would prevent me from staying again.

I'm so satisfied regarding queality price, is near to the train station, near to the market, I'd would like to walk and for me the distances were great!, the people very gentile and a good service, molto amabile tutti. You know, the payed price is exactly you receive. Probably I improve the breakfast. The room are cleaned but not big, the neccessary for a tourist as me.

The Hotel Andrea Florence is in a good location relative to proximityto the train station and in a quiet safe area. Its also reasonably close to the main sites of Florence. Do request a room upstairs with a view of the Duomo however. Overall its a reasonable hotel for the price indicated, with breakfast included.

andrea hotel is a nice small hotel with wonderful staff easy to get to the fortezza do bassonice restaurants nearby.nice tohave the garden to look at from the window, and to see the domo's cape and bell-tower. the only problem we had is that we didn't have vegetables at breackfast. as a whole we liked the hotel and the people there and had a beautiful time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Andrea. I would recommend it highly. My room (103) was very comfortable, clean and quiet. I was particularly pleased with the lovely view! Also there's a very nice little park just a few steps away. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Lots of nice little places to eat nearby. The hotel is close to the Mercato Centrale, train station etc., Very nice location. I will be going back!

We arrived in Florence by train and had much trouble finding the hotel...website said it was in front of the train station...but it was many blocks away. The location though was very nice across from a park/square with a view of the city.

It is relatively old hotel, basically inside of a residential building. It is pretty quiet, it has nice view, but too many mosquitos and flys... my room had a very high ceiling so it was not easy to kill a mosquito. My wife didn't like the furniture and toilet, but she did like the breakfast room. Breakfast was great. I am not sure if I would go again, especially because we got much nicer and newer hotel in Rome for 25% lower price.

The hotel was very nice, the location is great, very close to the academia (4 blocks away) and the rest of the town centre. The people were very nice, and polite. Good breakfasts, few options but enough. The rooms: we got a family room and that was spacious (but only for two people), very clean when we arrived, but during our stay (5 days) they didn't clean the room very well, and you had to ask for the towels to be changed. Another room, for two people, was a bit small. Overall, we enjoyed staying there.

the hall is at the 3rd floor and the elevator is old and sometimes not operating room and bath cleanliness was not completely satisfying and the shower has only a courtain, no soapdish and it was difficult to adjust water temperature employes were very kind but a more realistic hotel's ranking should be two stars

This was a friendly, homely kind of hotel - nice quiet area, yet still handy for main sights of Florence - also lovely view from room. Price was excellent value. This would be a little gem of a hotel, were it not for the internal noise. Lack of soundproofing meant that even low level noise from other rooms was very audible, and noise from doors closing, stairway and entry buzzer system was also very disturbing. If this could be rectified we would love to stay at the Hotel Andrea Florence again, however the disturbed sleep would definitely give us pause for thought.

This is a good place to stay for a weekend holiday in Florence. Rooms are really good and location is perfect for visiting all the town. Breakfast is nothing special but it is ok. It is near the Congress Area that is reachable in a 5 minute walk.
