This was by far the cleanest and most attractive hotel we stayed at in Barcelona. It was very modern and sleek -- especially for the price we paid. Although it was not in the center of Barcelona, it was close enough to Metro stations (or a cheap taxi ride) to get you where you need to be. We also had a nice view of Gaudi's church from our room. If you don't mind sacrificing location for a nice comfortable room, this hotel is the place for oyu.

Just back from weekend in Barcelona. Moved to this hotel from another in centre as no rooms for our first night here. Having choice would prefer central hotel as Amrey Diagonal was a little walk through business area and Metro station had a lot of stairs which for me are a problem. Bus service number 7 very close and every 5 minutes journey about 15 mins to centre for 1.30 Euros each way. Taxi cost between 7-9 Euros from Catalunya. It is 2 stops on Metro from Autobus station Nord where we arrived from Girona airport. Hotel very nice and quiet, we did not have a view of much from 4th floor just the street below and apartments opposite. There is a Lidl supermarket across the street which was great for buying snacks etc. Didn't try the breakfast for 13 Euros prefered to get out into centre. would stay here again apart from travelling back and forward to centre.

About 300 metres from the Metro. Supermarket directly opposite. This is more like a 4* hotel than a 3*. No problem in leaving luggage for pick up later. Ideal if you're staying there pre cruise and don't want to have luggage with you for the day. About 15 Euros for a taxi to the port. Breakfast is expensive at 15 Euro but this really is a first rate hotel. Don't attempt to travel by train & metro from the airport. Get off the train and then taxi it.

This hotel is very modern with a simple style. A nice change from some of the more standardized business style hotels. The staff was extremely knowledgable and answered all of our questions in English. Good public transportation nearby to anywhere in Barcelona. I loved the location with a lovely walk to the Med. I enjoyed my stay there. This hotel is good value for the money.

very good hotel for short break. Conviniently located for local transport . Sufficient shops,restaurants,tapas bars around the area. Hotel syaf very helpful. Hotel itself very comfortable.

Amrey is clean, professional, & modern. Rooms are very nice - bathroom is equipped with hair dryer! Breakast is excellent with variety of food/beverage options. Staff is prof/helpful - front desk speaks English. Amrey is off the beaten path from downtown, making it a quiet retreat from a day of tourism. Metro is close. Taxi costs +/- 6 Euros (one-way). Call ahead for a taxi during off-peak hours. Internet access available. Buy access code at check-in. There are many resturants within walking distance. Don't miss Racasens.

Air conditioning was set for a MINIMUM of 22 degrees with no possibility to lower. I could not sleep well because it was too warm. Unpleasant.

I was satisfied with the confort, cleanliness and facilities of this hotel. The breakfast was nice as well. The location was very good (in a quite and elegant area and very closed to the sea side). As a price it was clearly a very good offer. I enjoyed staying in Amrey Diagonal Hotel and I will soon preparing my vacation for next year in the same hotel for sure! I kindly recommend this hotel to everybody!!
