Lovely secluded room.Nice large hotel up some narrow typical Amalfi steps in the heart of the town. We visited our friends the week before we went to stay at the hotel and they had a lovely room so, when we arrived we asked if we could have the room that they had stayed in. The hotel obliged us with no fuss and we had a lovely stay. My only negative comment is,be aware that if you need to check out before 8.30 in the morning you should settle up the night before. Perhaps this is standard with small hotels only having a night porter on duty but this condition should be explained at check in rather than on one poster by the lifts that we rarely used. The room we had was 316 and it had a balcony with lemons trees all around it, very peacefull away from the square.

The hotel is nice and central, just off the main square.It was a little noisy at times(mainly other guests wheeling cases on tiles of floor above but this was minor) The staff were particularly helpful with booking a tour for us as we had to leave the tour and go to naples instead they made calls to the tour operator and helped arrange this. Not much to do in the area itself for our age group but we only wanted to see Pompei and Vesuvius so it was perfect for us. A pleasent few days.

Very central location but not too noisy at night. They offer parking at 18 Euros / night but some cars are taken elsewhere. Public parking in Amalfi is very limited and expensive, 3 euros per hour all hours by sea front. Hotel staff very helpful & friendly.
