Hotel Alyeska

Nestled in the Chugach Mountain Range in the resort community of Girdwood, the Hotel Alyeska is 15 miles from Portage Glacier and two miles from Crow Creek Gold Mine. Downtown Anchorage is 40 miles away.

The floor-to-ceiling windows in the fireside lobby and grand staircase offer unobstructed views of the north face of Mount Alyeska. Open beams and cathedral ceilings accent the indoor lap pool, 16-person spa tub, and fitness center. Ski storage and a ski shuttle are provided by the hotel. Airport transportation is available for a surcharge. Wireless internet access is available in the lobby and is included in the resort fee.

The eight-story property has 307 guestrooms. All rooms offer cable TV with pay-per-view movies and are equipped with coffeemakers, refrigerators, hairdryers, and irons with ironing boards. In-room complimentary DSL is available. All rooms are non-smoking.

Please note that this property allows service animals only. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. The Hotel Alyeska's Tram will be closed until ski season starts Nov 23, 2011.
The Hotel Alyeska's Pool and Hot Tub will be closed for maintenance until Nov 25, 2011, perhaps longer.
You must be 21 years of age or older to make a reservation and check-in. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by someone 21 years of age or older to stay in the hotel. Any guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
The Hotel Alyeska collects a Resort Fee of $10.00 USD (per room, per day) upon check-in directly from the guest.
