Agan Hotel is located in the old city close to the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and Spice Market. All easily reached either by walking or taking the tram. Because of the old city location, the hotel rooms are very small and the bathroom - especially the shower which is only a showerhead in the middle of the bathroom wall-is quite usual. Do not expect high quality, just a small clean room to catch a few hours of sleep. If you can handle this little inconvenience, the location and friendly english speaking staff make it worth while. Great free breakfast in the mornings and a lot of wonderful restaurants nearby. You are certainly paying for the location - not the hotel comforts which I imagine is common for the area. Go with an open mind and enjoy your stay!

The staff at the Agan Hotel was excellen, friendly & accomodating. The location is excellent, within walking distance to everything. When I return ti Istanbul, I will stay at the Agan.

I am connecting often through Istanbul airport with a long layover between 13 to 18 hours. This hotel is perfect for just relaxing these hours in Istanbul and explore the nearby sites!

The hotel was small but beautiful and perfectly located. The staff was so helpful and friendly as well. They are more than willing to answer any and all questions. Very clean, and the restaurant downstairs was delicious. Breakfast in the morning was pretty good too. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Loved this little hotel great location right in the middle or within walking distant to every attraction in istanbul will stay there again on my next visit. LOVED IT!

Very nice people are working there! If you wanna stay in old town for few dollars, you have no other choice just take this hotel!
