Room supplied not as described and not ready for check in timeDescribed as a superior room with queen bed, the room was disappointing as was a small room with double bed. The marble bathroom had not an ounce of marble and the bath was only a very short bath - with handheld shower attachment only.The advertised check-in was ignored as the room was not ready until 4.30 - hour and half later.There was no reduction on our bill on check-out - we should have complained initially but were just tired from travel and relieved to finally have a room! Staff spoke good English but this 'recently decorated' room was poorly finished and not even any drawers to put clothes away in.Plus side was the excellent location of this hotel to most major tourist attractions.

Great little hotel. The room we had was tiny, but comfortable, newly decorated, and just right for us! It even had a bathtub! Location was a bit far from the sights, but the metro was very close. Breakfast was outrageously expensive, but why buy it when there are bakeries, cafes and all of Paris right outside the door! There was no ice to be had, as they were remodeling the bar/lounge. That didn't bother us, but it might bother others. Had a lovely tiny little garden where you could rest or eat. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. There was a small market and a laundromat within a block. In a lovely safe neighborhood. It was perfect for us - a mom with 11-yr old daughter. Loved it.

Great loation and staff. Room was perfect, and very clean. I would not hesitate to go back! Gardens and restaurants are just a few steps away - and perfect for having breakfast and planning your day!

re decoration going on and lift out of order so were upgraded to 5th floor suite which was amazing. 2 story suite with 2 bathrooms 2 flats creen tv's. All brand new and state of the art. peaceful and restfull. If youc an get room 508 or its opposite no it is well worth staying if lift is working!

I reserved a club room due to the decor and upper floor location. The maid staff and the front desk staff were outstanding, extremely nice, spoke english and assisted for any and everything. I had been told the french were rude, but a friend of mine who had visited Paris told me to say Bon Jour to everyone and they would reciprocate in kind. This was 100% true. Granted, the rooms were small, but thats Europe. Street noise was almost non existent with the window closed and the only noise I heard was from the room above, but it was minimal. The wireless internet was free and worked perfectly, just ask the desk for the password. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I agree with the previous comment, staff is courteous enough. We also stayed for 5 nights, the room was clean, small but nothing smaller than average for a european hotel. Nothing spectacular, nothing horrible.

The hotel was a 2 minutes walk from the metro station Vavin to the left and 5 minutes from the Luxembourg Gardens to the right. It is located in a quiet side street. At the time of our stay they were refurbishing (or only painting) the hotel so they had bits lying everywhere but apart from that we didn't have any problems with this situation. We did not have any food in the hotel but instead opted for the petit dejeuner in one of the 4 Cafes or/Bistros on Rue Montparnasse just 1-2 minutes away. The check in and check out went smoothly and the staff were friendly. We probably won't stay there again as we might prefer a different location.

Our room was on the second floor and overlooked a small courtyard. The room was small in American terms but spacious in European terms. The hotel is in an old Parisian building, giving it a charm that no American Best Western could have, but it was very clean and fresh and modern and not at all stuffy or stale. The hotel is very close to the metro and to the Luxembourg Gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and everything was great. The staff was as nice as they needed to be, the room was clean. As everyone said, it was small, but not a box by any means. On the second day our curtains broke and by the time we returned to the room they were fixed. It was right next to the metro and in a nice quite spot. I would surely recommend it.
