Hotel 81 - Elegance

The Hotel 81 - Elegance is located on Foch Road, just behind the Eminent Plaza and around a 5-minute walk from the Lavender Food Court which is famous for serving delicious local cuisine around the clock. Foch Road connects Lavender Street and Jalan Besar Road. The closest subway station is Lavender MRT, about a 10-minute walk away. Changi International Airport is a 25-minute transfer from the hotel. A 5- to 10-minute car ride away guests will find Little India, Bugis Street, Orchard Road and the Suntec City shopping mall.

Recently opened in 2006, the hotel is part of Singapore's largest tourist class budget hotel chain. Though this no-frills hotel has no swimming pool, gym or restaurant, there are a number of restaurants and cafes just a few paces from the establishment. Facilities and services on offer include safes at the front desk, a laundry service (charges apply) and this air-conditioned hotel's front desk also sells telephone cards for international direct dialling which may be used in the rooms for overseas calls and provides a 24-hour reception service. There are also 2 lifts available as well as Internet access (for an additional fee).

All rooms have individually adjustable air conditioning, a small bathroom with a hot shower, a TV (mounted on the wall), a telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer, and an iron and ironing board are available on request. Though the rooms are small, they are clean and elegantly furnished - with the option of either one queen-size bed or two single beds (no extra bed allowed). Some rooms do not have windows. Disability-friendly and non-smoking accommodation is available to be booked.
