This is a Victorian hotel that has does not have a lot of the modern amenities. The staff are very nice It is a casual place with a good price and clean sheets. More along the lines of something you would find in Amsterdam or Dublin. in short. Old, not fancy but with a charm all its own.

I am not a picky person and for me a hotel is a place to sleep, shower and get ready so I'm not very concerned about amenities and whatnot. As long as the place is clean I am cool. This hotel was actually quite quirky with decor which reminded me of some egyptian tomb (aqua, violet, ivory, gold-->sounds tacky but it works!) but the best part was that the building was somewhat crooked so be careful coming down the stairs or placing anything on the sink because it WILL roll forward. Besides all that, this hotel was in the BEST possible location(Latin Quarter) and was a block away from the Berri-UQAM station (3 subways run from here), St. Catherine St. (basically the Main St. of Montreal) and St. Denis which is awesome because it has lots of great eateries and breweries!

no on site parking- but great garage under the library one block over- cheap 24 hour parking- good for the price, we paid 80 a night- not too shabby- lots of homeless people nearby tho- so try not to get back too late and spend time outside of the area- within walking distance to a lot of stuff, so derrs dat

The old building with some character, it's reasonably well kept, close to Rue St. Marie (commercial center) and has a great transportation connection in the bus station (with transportation to the airport)/major metro stop with I believe all lines crossing there........neighborhood was a bit seedy, but you're going to get that being just off of a big city strip. Desk staff is very nice and helpful. Room was clean, and reasonably comfortable, but smallish

good welcome and touristic informations. But for breakfast, we would have appreciated weat bread or toasts and places out of the reception desk because garbage were on the pavement outside the hotel. Anyway, we'll recommand this place to our relatives and friends.

Never stay here unless you are really desperate and there are no other hotels/B and B's or park benches available. The situation of the hotel is in an undesirable neighbourhood and is particularly seedy and definitely not for families. Beds and the room in general smell of disinfectant. However the hotel is fairly near the centre.

This hotel is in an excellent location for anyone travelling by public transport. It is opposite the main bus terminal( greyhound and other coaches) and metro station. It also had free use of the internet. It was an easy walk to old Montreal. Rooms are small but very comfortable, very interresting decor!

We weren't told about the B&B on arrival, therfore cannot comment about the food! Good location, directly opposte the bus station in town. Ideal hotel for those on a budget wanting a room as a base for touring the city. Don't get too excited if you want a big bath!!!! :o)
