We were just there for the weekend with 2 boys and went to Magic Springs/Crystal falls. The fully stocked kitchen was great; we bought some groceries at Walmart and stayed in for the evenings watching movies. Very relaxing. Everything worked. It was 100 degrees the day we went to Magic Springs, and when we got back to the house, it was so cool, the air conditioner worked very well. The place was very clean, updated and comfortable.

We stayed here during Hurrican Gustav when we evacuated from Louisiana. We stayed in a three-bedroom unit. The upstairs was on ground level with living area, small kitchen, and dining area. There was also a very large bedroom with a king-size bed and connecting bathroom with a tub. Two smaller bedrooms were downstairs; one with a full size bed and one with twin beds. There was a bathroom with a tub downstairs, also. The unit included a washer and dryer. Under different circumstances, this would have been a lovely place to stay. But unfortunately, the hurricane came into Arkansas and we could not get out of the room for two days. Hot Springs received nine inches of rain with high winds that knocked out power. Our unit was without power for four hours. But if you go when the weather is nice, Hot Springs Village has a golf course, tennis courts, restaurant in the Village on the golf course, swimming pool, miniature golf course, and lake. Most of the units there are older, but the value for the price is good. Each unit is privately owned. Some people live here year-round while other owners use the properties as a vacation home and rent it when they're not here. There is a Wal-Mart nearby. The Village has a nice grocery store, Subway restaurant, Burger King and Walgreens, among other smaller businesses. This is a nice place to stay for families and people who like the outdoors. One word of caution for older travelers. My 84 year old mom had trouble using the stairs and getting in and out of the tub since there wasn't any sort of rail for support. This property is located 14 miles north of Hot Springs on Hwy. 7.

Thankfully we arrived earlier than I had expected because it took us an hour to find the front gate. The directions we got lead us around to the back gate and we were unable to enter. But once we finally found it we were about 10 minutes further into the Village. It is a lot of little roads leading everywhere over 15 miles. We were on a family trip so as long as you aren't in a hury the trip to Hot Springs isn't that bad (about 30 min). What I liked was that we had 2 bedrooms 2 baths a kitchen, sitting room, and a nice big living room. We didn't feel cramped at all. And at 95/night it was worth it. It felt really homey at night sitting in the living room with my husband and the kids watching a movie.

We were in 323. The location to Magic Springs and Hot Springs was perfect. We had very good directions so the drive was not as bad as other reviews had led us to believe. This townhouse we stayed in was not the most modern we have stayed in if that is what you are looking for, but for a good price it was great. Our grandchildren had a great time at one of the playgrounds which was within walking distance of one of the pool areas. The pool area had three swimming pools. We did not use these this trip but will in the future. There was also a putt-putt golf course nearby. The worker at the playground office was very informative and even told us we could use the tennis courts after 8:00 for free. But I thought the prices were very reasonable anyway. Hot Springs Village is gated and the guards were very friendly and helpful. Also-watch for deer. We saw one just standing on the side of the road and was told there were plenty to see.

the photo shown on the internet was clearly not where we stayed. We were to stay in a condo. We were placed in a single dwellling home. We thiught that would be great but the home had been closed up for so long tht it was actually had to get the door open & when we finally did the home was very very musty smelling. We had to go out & buy air freshners & candles to try & get rid of the smell. Other than that the stay was fine.

Our family and a couple of friends planned a weekend trip Hot Springs for horse racing. When we booked our stay at Hot Springs Village, the ad stated that the facility was 14 miles from downtown Hot Springs. That was very appealing to us. Before we left home, we contacted the hotel to request information about check-in times and the location of the check-in. We were shocked when we were told that the closest "entry gate" is 14 miles from Hot Springs and that our cottage would be at least 40 minutes from Hot Springs. Furthermore, we were informed that the office closed at 5pm and that a key would be left in a mailbox. Had we not called before leaving, we could have found ourselves without a means to get into the facility.

The actal townhouse was fabulous, everything that could be provided was provided. The actual travel to destination was horrible. It took 1 hour from downtown Hot Springs to locate thi splace. It was horrible. i loved th eplace,it has got to be a better way to get there. This was our annual couples getaway, and we really enjoyed it.

Hot Springs Village, Hot Springs Village, AR was a pleasent surprise. I was very pleased with the accommodations. We were close to grocery stores, banks, fastfood, drug stores, Walmart, and only a few miles from down town shopping and sight seeing. There were golf courts, swimming pool, walking trails, exercise facilities, bars, you name it, it was there. The condo we rented was more of a house. It had a double garage, full sided; fully equiped kitchen, patio, breakfast nook, dining area, larger than larger living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths; with tvs in every room, and much more. All in all it was a home away from home.

It was a decent place to stay for the money. Great View from the balcony to the lake. If you want to use the Tennis courts, Indoor Pool, Putt Putt, etc. it costs extra (more than was worth) Our bathroom had an ant problem. Other than that...was ok.

This was a very good deal and I would recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting this area. The staff was extremely friedly and helpfull with any questions that we had. The only drawback was that it was 15 miles from Hot Springs and resulted in a 35-40 minute drive. (due to construction and winding mountain roads) However it was very serene and peaceful and we would stay there again.
