We had a nasty room. I was tremendously dissapointed with the service, and I can't really remember, but I'm quite sure I paid a bunch more than I was just quoted for the same weekend, on this site! People were terrible, vending machines didn't work, and the employees did NOTHING to refund or get me what I had paid for. Really unpleasant. I'm not the pickiest person, but I wouldn't recommend this place.

Our room isn't in those photos. It was a strange shape and kind of uncomfortable. The people there were horrid. I have never had such terrible service. They lied to me. The vending machines didn't work, and they did nothing about it, and the luggage storage, was paid lockers! (not mentioned in any of our information). We took the flamenco tour that they offered. The desk clerk gleefully told me that we would be picked up at the hotel and taken directly to the show, neglecting to tell me that we would be walking two miles on cobbled streets for a tour. I wore heels, thinking I woudn't be walking. Miserable the entire time! Couldn't complain about the location, and there were some great little eateries nearby. I was pretty disappointed. Worst place I stayed in in a month in Spain.

Excellent hostel in central location. Easy to find too, which was an unexpected bonus! Room was small but perfectly adequate and we didn't spend much time in it so that wasn't a problem. Shower excellent, air conditioning effective - both of these were important with the hot weather we experienced while staying there. Walls a bit thin so noisy neighbours woke us up a few times, and although room overlooked a side-street it was close to the main road so traffic noise was noticeable but didn't stop us sleeping. Warning to anyone driving and intending to use the hostal's car park - it's small, underground and very tight to manouvre in. Overall an excellent place to stay and great value for money.

Very centrally located hostal with car parking. Comfortable rooms, very good value for money, internet most useful. Would certainly recommend it.

Good, cheap, clean hotel, could be noisy at times but that can happen in any hotel, great location for getting around Granada. Nice cafe next door, open early, hotel is on Bus route for Airport and Coach Station Service.

Right in the centre of Granada (Gran Colon) handy for everything including buses. Ther is a car park nearby for 15euros/day but space is restrictive so parking can be extremely difficult. Good cafe next door that opens early for breakfast.

Good Value Hotel In The Centre Of GranadaHostal Atenas is a basic budget option. We paid 30 euros per night for the room, it was easily the cheapest central accommodation we could find in the city. The location is fantastic, right on the Gran Via. We arrived by coach, the bus number 33 took us from the station and dropped us right outside the hotel in 5 minutes. There are plenty of bars and restaurants right outside the hotel and the bus leaves from here to go to the Alhambra and to the top of the Albacin. The quality of the room reflected the price, it was very basic and quite dark but it was clean. We had to ask for our towels when we arrived but they delivered them straight away. Overall this hotel was perfect for our needs as we only went there to sleep and shower.

Good room for the money. Very close to Alhambra bus stop, parking and restaurants.Only down side was the noise from other guests - late night banging doors, shouting, laughing etc sounded like there was a party in the hall.

The reception staff were very unfriendly and repeatedly kept us waiting while they were on the phone. It's a pity as this hotel has been one of the best value for money experiences I've had in Spain. Location is excellent.
