Stayed 2 nights at the Horseshoe-Fabulous get-a-way! Speedy check-in as prior reservations were made using their on-line web-site. I would compare the suites at The Horseshoe to a really nice up-scale Embassy Suites. Updated room decor and fixtures...comfortable & clean bed and bath. the night view is breathtaking! Frig. but not micro. Be sure and check out their special package deals on-line...For example- We got our suite and 2 free buffets for only $79!!!! Parking is so easy and connected AND FREE! However, there is an internet charge per computer that will cost you $10.95...Staff was personable and friendly, too! Gotta check out the karaoke on Tuesday nights- so much fun! Several rest. and shopping within the resort...Food was to die for- definitely will have to loosen your button (or wear you spanks!) Extremely quiet hallways by the rooms...definitely money well spent. Word of caution for first time visitor...we stayed our first night at DJ's- doesn't even compare to the Horseshoe...more like Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas in extremely loud and obnoxious lime green and orange toucans! Entry is very deceiving and no hospitality! Very Robotic!

We have stayed here on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed it. The rooms are great as is the service. The dining is excellent with a choice of four restaurants, including the buffet. The casino is large with a wide variety of slots and table games. I would recommend it to anyone.

I go to Shreveport once a month. The beds are awsome you will not want to get out of it. Rooms are very large. Three televisions. Large very comfortable sofa to sleep on. The resturants are very good especially the Four Winds. Great Chinese food with very good sauces. Ask for Sharon. Must have reservations for the Four Winds and steak house. I win or break even every time I gamble there. My husband doesn't but I love the Hotel . Wish all Hotels were as great as this one.

beautiful room, lots of shops and restaurants. The only thing I would change would be easier access to the casino for the handycaped.

Wish hotel had swimming pool and/or arcade for children. Great service while forced to evacuate for hurricane. Price a bit high for non-gamblers and limited options for children. Great food, good parking and close to Boardwalk activities.

Every one was very nice. The best hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were very large with many extras. The bed was very very comfortable. The bathrooms were nice and large. Plan on going back.

Nice room, good meals and plenty to do on site.

No pool, and the dining rooms were pricy. The room was excellent size with 3 TV's, even one in the bathroom. The double sized tub had jets and operated perfectly. There was a fridge and small coffee pot in the room. The kids loved watching the planes take off and land from the local airbase, but we couldn't hear them at all. It was a very quiet room.

The Bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The View was very nice overlooking the river. It's not Vegas, but it is very nice. I would go back again expecting a wondrful stay.

The room was an excellent price and was very nice. However, we were in a restaurant inside of the hotel and the waitress was very rude and we left without eating we have never been treated like that at a restaurant.

We went to EVERY casino in Shreveport and The Horshoe was BY FAR the best!!! The staff was INCREDIBLY nice and accomidating!!! ALWAYS a smile on their face!! The room was AMAZING..and the tub was HUGE!!! The cleanest hotel I've EVER stayed in!! SECURITY was a HUGE +++++ !!!! There was a GUARD at the entrance to the room elevators DAY AND NIGHT....at ALL TIMES!!! This made me feel extremely safe when I would make a quick trip to the room whether it be 1pm or 1am...they require you to show your room card so there are NO unregistered guests in the hotel portion!!!! I can't say enough about the restraunts!! There are 4 IN THE HOTEL!!! The buffet was awesome as well as the other restraunts!! GOOD PRICES and VERY SWEET wait staff!!! DON"T BOTHER GOING TO ANY OTHER CASINO OR HOTEL IN SHREVEPORT!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT....THE CASINO WAS PAYING OUT QUITE NICELY AS WELL!!! 3 FLOORS OF WINNING!!!! Also...the coctail waitresses are SUPER SWEET and WILL NOT stand around waiting for your *....which is nice cause we tip big in the end if they aren't after the * everytime we need a drink!!!! SOOOO overall!!!! GREAT HOTEL....awesome casino.. WELLLLL WORTH YOUR MONEY!!! :)

I was extremely disappointed with what should have been the finest hotel in the Bossier City area. The room was clammy, there was no hot water (while maintenance came immediately - it took over 40 minutes to get hot water) the only food after 10 PM was in the restaurant, which was terribly overpriced. My room phone didn't work. All in all...I would never recommend this hotel to my friends or family.

The Horseshoe Bossier Casino Hotel is a great place to stay, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are large and beautifully decorated. There are wonderful places to shop in the hotel and just a few blocks from area malls.

"This was an outstanding experience. The suite was huge with 3 T.V 's and plenty of space.Huge bathroom!! Beds were awesome!! This hotel would be off the charts if it had a pool.Still the best hotel experience, we have ever had. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The only negative aspect was we had to wait an hour and half for a room, but we went to eat and took up most of the time. We will be back soon!!"

Great rate for a superior facility. One of the two best in Bossier City, the Red, White, and Blue machines on the third floor can pay for your stay.

Very nice rooms. Casino is small and the slots do not even give you a cherry. You will lose all your money and not have any fun at all.

We've stayed several places in Shreveport and Vegas. I would say this is the nicest hotel/casino we've stayed in. The rooms are very roomy and luxurious. The staff here is very friendly and accomodating. We will definitely return.
