The resort has a GREAT pool which was never shown in the pictures we found online. Wonderful for young kids too with the zero entrance. There is a cabana by the pool for snacks. It has beautiful landscaping and waterfalls with a big lodge feeling in the main building. They also have a pool table, ping pong table, games to check out, shuffleboard, etc. Many activities sponsored by the resort like ice cream social each day, Texas Hold Em, movies on a big screen, tour of Branson. After checking in we thought we might not need to leave the resort with everything to do there. The staff was very helpful with any of our needs such as getting tickets to SDC. We will return to this resort. It was a wonderful experience.

The room was very clean, the check in was fast, and the list of activities at the hotel were great! The choices and amenities were nice. Our room was clean and appeared freshly painted (without the smell). The room was easily accessible, and relatively quiet. The activities at the hotel were nice, and the list of those activities was very organized and clearly stated. The hotel staff was very friendly and and attentive.

We were very pleasantly surprised. The location is centrally located to everything, but yet the resort makes you feel like you are secluded in the woods and it is very peaceful. The pool is beautiful and convenient, no matter which building you are in. The resort is not overwhelmingly huge, which I love. The rooms are nice and well maintained. I would recommend this resort to anyone. We plan on making this our home when traveling to Branson.

The activity staff was very active and involved. The decor needs to be improved. Guest relations could also be improved. Would return to Branson but will look for another hotel. The Marriot resorts we have previously stayed in were more attractive and had more updated entertainment facilities for children. Although the activities staff worked hard, the equipment and supplies leave something to be desired.

This resort was one of the best stays I have ever had! We booked the room for $ per night in May. The room was great with the refridgerator, microwave, and dining area equipped with utensils. The bathroom was huge! You could walk anywhere in the resort from each building with ease. The recreation was awesome with free pool table and games along with table tennis. The exercise area was fine and the pools were the best! They had an huge outdoor pool along with a good size indoor pool. They had all types of free activities you could join in if you wished as well. The resort was off the highway which was nice. The only minor drawback was no breakfast was included. We just stopped at the local Wal-Mart and picked some items up for breakfast which was just fine for us. If you wanted maid service there was an additional charge but we stayed three days and just took care of our room with no problem! We have been to Branson several times and there are many fine places to stay but I must say for the price and service you receive here you can't go wrong!

The Horizon's is a wonderful place to spend the holidays! It is conveniently located close to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, Christmas festivities, etc. We enjoy the vacation ""HOME"" aspect vs. just staying in another hotel room. The resort offers lot's of amenities, I especially like the full kitchen, spaciousness of the 1-2 bedroom units, and the in room laundry facilities. My family has been going in December for the past 4 years and we are going again this year. Marriott quality speaks for itself.

The Marriott Vacation Club was the best place we have ever stayed at. Couldn't imagine a better place for the same price. Very family friendly. We stayed with three young children and never wanted to leave the hotel. Indoor pool was very nice, outdoor pool was incredible. We had a one bedroom villa, which was very clean and up to date. Decorated nicely with lots of space.

I stayed here as kind of a last minute place and it was wonderful!! They only have 2 Villa areas open now as the others are still under construction but I couldn't have been happier with what they already had open! The rooms were great and the staff even better!

The hotel was clean, neat and cheerfully decorated. The connecting rooms were great. We had plenty of room for two couples and 5 small children.

We just took our two sons to Silver Dollar City for the first time. I booked this room after reading the previous great reviews. They were right - this is a fabulous hotel. Clean, spacious rooms with full kitchen. Our only problem was the guest noise from the floor above us. Next time we will request a top-floor room. Will definitely stay here again."

My family of four just got back from our trip to Branson. We are definitely not strangers to Branson, as we make it up their a couple times a year. This was our first time to stay at Horizons Marriot and we loved it. We ended up getting a studio, which would be great for two people, but was a little tight for four. The table's in the room were dirty ( 2 inches of dust),but we cleaned them off and everything else was clean. The grounds were beautiful. The pools are really nice and the staff are very friendly. There are plenty of activities at this hotel as well as plenty to do around Branson. I rate this as a great place to stay!!! (We originally wanted to stay at Branson landing----we visited it and are glad we decided not too--not very interesting---same stores as we have in our home town)
