Many of the reviewers are doing the equivalent of buying a cheap econobox car and complaining that it doesn't accelerate like a sports car. If you want a clean place to stay that meets basic expectations of what a hotel should be, and want to save your money for the tables without the hassle of staying off strip or in the crimey north strip, this is a great hotel.

Who would have ever guess that in a couple driven resort town a hotel with the name Hooters has trouble booking guest. Take advatage of it and get a great price for the location. All these bad reviews must have been written by hairy lesbians that were never even in Vegas. This place is worth the money and then some.

The rooms were a little on the small side and only had double beds. The pool was very nice and clean. The people were friendly. Over all it was nice.

This is a very nice hotel and locatin very near the strip, right aross from MGM so the location is great with a great price for a room. I enjoyyed this hotel very much.

I'm a little late with this review, as I stayed at Hooters Las Vegas in late January 2009. I'm writing this now because I'm looking into a return trip to Vegas in the summer. Here's my opinion: My room was very nice. Was it perfect? No. But I don't expect that when I'm staying at an older property for very little money. It had a king-sized bed, comforable cushioned chair, and a nice view out the front of the hotel. And since I booked thru travel website and there was some sort of special, it basically only cost $ a night. You can't really beat that. Further, the location is pretty nice, too. You're within easy walking distance of the southern hub of the Strip, with the Tropicana, MGM, New York-New York, and Excalibur nearby. One complaint. The $5.00/day "resort fee" is irritating and unnecessary. Just give me a total price for the room per night. [BTW, I did use the gym on site. Small, but adequate.] A bigger complaint is that this "resort fee" is supposed to include unlimited local calls from your room in Vegas. Yet when you check out, they invariably charge you for the calls anyway unless you point it out to them (I'm not the first to complain about this). Very petty, Hooters, and it jeopardizes future customer goodwill. Conclusion? Decent room + Decent location + Girls in orange short-shorts (if you're into that sort of thing) = Good Value.

They gave me the clue early. When I checked in, I asked for a receipt...I was told by the front desk clerk "You paid through travel agent.. I don't know what you paid". I was treated as a non-entity. NO maid service at all, even after I requested new towels after day #3. Not one person from housekeeping entered the room in 3 days. The room itself wasnt any better than a Fairfield Inn type room. I have business in Vegas 3 more times over the next 12 months and I will NOT stay at Hooters again. They had the worst customer service I've experienced. It seemed as if I wasn't a guest (and I wasn't...I paid travel agent, not Hooters for my trip), so that's how I felt I was treated.

Got charged an additional $5/nite by the hotel for the "spa" fee: pool, local phone calls, parking. Found out about it when charge showed up after I got home. Not disclosed at check-in or check-out. Didn't want/need any of it. Don't know if direct price quote from hotel includes the $5/nite or not. Keep that in mind when price shopping.

I liked the layout of the casino, small & quaint. We stayed in the "Bungalows' & had a great view overlooking the pool. The pool area is sweet, it has 3 pools, 2 jacuzzi, fire pits with comfy benches. The outside pool bar is cool too.

worst hotel ive ever stayed at. ive seen cleaner college dorms. terrible smell, carpets are stained tiedye colors. staff is next to incompetent. broken glass all over hallway floor- told maintenance guy about it. asked him to contact someone. i was told basically there was nothing he could do. every shop or restaurant server seemed to have an attitude of "i dont have time." couldn't even get coffee in the coffee shop! there are MUCH better options for the same money in vegas. go anywhere else!

I called when our flight was cancled and cancled the resevations I then called and tried to cancle the rest of my trip with cheaptickets and they would not refund the money beacuse they said I dident call. who eber I called did not cancle the reservations and now I canot get my refund.

This hotel was very dirty, smell in the lobby and pool area of raw sewage, room had a dirty bandaid stuck to the headboard and the surface of the nightstand, counters and desk were not clean. Would never stay at another Hooters Hotel anywhere.

This hotel was the worst. The staff here treated me and my friends like trash from the management to the hostest.. The room had a bad odor and the sheets were dirty, and my rooms had NO A/C when i asked to switch to another room I was told they were booked.... LIE The restaurant staff were terrible my chicken had more feather on it then I had hair on my head. The manager refuse to come over and talk with me The security are all stalkers and look at u like ur from out of space. I called the VP of the hotel/casino and he refuse to return my call ***
