Room spacious, comfortable and clean. A business-class hotel that's value-for-money. Almost 10min walk to train station.

The effort of the hotel to provide toiletries and other useful knick knacks like hairclip, eyedrops, mouth gargle is excellent. It would have been excellent if the hotel is sited closer to where the action in Taipei is.

Good value for money with an excellent bathroom. Close to airport transfer bus route. Reasonably close to MTR train station which gives good access across Taipei. Reception staff friendly and their is an Internet computer adjacent to the reception area. Reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Staff were helpful and supplied iron and ironing board.

I was very pleased with this hotel. It's a 10 minute walk to the MRT train, with a couple good cafes and restaurants nearby. The rooms and attached bathrooms were surprisingly nice and quite spacious with a huge number of amenities, including free wi-fi. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Taipei.

Stayed here for 2 nights on my way back to Australia. We got to the hotel at 7:30am (due to an early flight) and the staff were so friendly and gave us a complimentary breakfast. We were expecting to leave our luggage and comeback and check in later, however, midway through breakfast one of the staff came up and said our room was ready to check into (9:00am)! The rooms are HUGE and have free internet. It's about a 500m walk to the train station. In summary - huge rooms, good location and great staff. I would definatley stay here again!

Very good hotel in a good location centrally located in Taipei. There is a lot of road works and building going on around the hotel so be aware that if you want a sleep in get a room away from the road.

Front desk personals were very kind and had good service provided except room maid service were very poor. 3 guests were staying in the room but the amenties provided only 2 guests. When I requested for another set of the amenties, either no respond or the room maid shown unhappy to serve. Broken glasses were found in the bathroom.

The TRPB room was very big and spacious. We were pleasantly surprised with the extra area in the room. The only thing that we think they can improve is their lobby. They should have some seats for people to wait around, The other thing would be the toilet. It could have been better. Other than that, it's pretty good.

Spacious room, but not necessarily for a solo traveller. Nearby street food is highly recommended. Will have to return to check out the area now that I have a pleasant experience coming from the airport.

Hotel was clean and comfortable and situated in the heart of Taipei. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I found the bathroom to be very large in comparison to the bedroom, which was great since I had my wife and young daughter with me. I would recommend printing a map to the hotel in Chinese from this website to have with you when catching a cab from the airport. Not everyone speaks English and this would have saved me some frustration!

What stood out for me over everything else on the trip was how friendly and helpful the staff at Hondo were. They went out of their way to do as much as they could. A real highlight of the trip!

I would like to recommend Hondo Hotel to anyone who plans to visit Taipei for business or for pleasure. I was deeply impressed by the room that was kept so clean and the staffs who were more than willing to help the guests. Breakfast was not as good as that of five star hotels but was not bad. Besides coffee and tea, mineral water and soft drinks were offered free of charge in the room. Fruit and cookie basket was a surprise upon return to the room in the evening. I have stayed in different types/grades of hotels all over the world but Hondo Hotel impressed me deeply. I appreciate the hotel and the staffs for making my stay in Taipei so pleasant.

The Hondo Hotel was very professional with their service. However, I stayed in the deluxe business suite and the room did not have a window. This was a lil disappointing considering our bedroom was quite large.Overall the room was really clean and tidy.

The room that we stayed was quite nice, clean and spacious but the nearest MRT is about 10 - 15 mins walk. Overall, this hotel is recommended if you don't mind a little bit of walking.
