Attended a wedding reception that was 4 blocks away. The hotel was just what i wanted for a resonable price.

Very nice facilities, gym, pool, free breakfast. Room had a musty smell. Carpet was rather dirty. Hotel itself is situated in a very nice location. The facilities in this hotel are great. The pool and gym area are excellent. The free breakfast was great too.

We did enjoy our stay in a 1 bedroom suite; the staff were very friendly; and the location was wonderful; the pool was awesome - in fact 3 pools; one pool was kept at a very warm temperature probably for children. Our grandkids loved it. There is a business center at no extra charge; a library; and breakfast was included; however, if Hilton Homestead is offering and advertising that it offers a breakifast included it should be a decent meal - the food was okay, but every morning we did not have spoons for cereal; the toaster was not working properly; and NO hot water for tea; and the coffee was awful. Other than the lackluster breakfast I would recommend the Homestead if traveling with small children and need a suite.

We stayed for my daughters birthday trip to the aquarium and an Orioles game. They had a great breakfast with eggs sausage bacon, danishes etc. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. We were 2 blocks from the inner harbor and one block to a fantastic restaurant Mo's. We had a great view of the harbor from our kitchen and livingroom and the beds had quality linens with a great duvet. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We were a family of four that stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and had plenty of room with a full dining room table.

We were so pleasantly surprised with this Hotel and the super central location to all of Baltimore Harbor activity and surrounding neighborhoods. We both like to work out and found the free access to the MAC gym to be the best we ever experienced! super updated and clean equipment along with great pools, shower rooms with sauna and steam. Also allowed to attend free classes for yoga, spin, etc

The hotel was clean. This room was very pretty. The hotel convenience store was too far, it was around the block, and I expected one to be in the lobby.

The hotel was wonderful - the room was a very good size, the bed was extremely comfortable, and we loved that the television was on a swivel so we could watch it from the couch in the living area or from the bed. Our only recommendation would be to put a fan in the bathroom. The included breakfast was very good and had decent selection, although we would have liked to have slightly later available hours (it was over by 9am and we're usually late sleepers). Same with room service - it is only available from 5pm-9pm, so it would have been nice to be able to order a late night snack. The location was extremely convenient as well - very close to ESPN Zone and the Aquarium (10 minute walk to each). I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a home away from home, since it is well furnished and has a full kitchen. It is also close to Little Italy (we got delivery from a great Italian place with a menu in the room book), CVS (around the corner), Whole Foods (2 minute walk), Haagen Daas and Starbucks (around the corner) and countless other restaurants all within 5 minutes walking distance. Just make sure to bring enough money for parking, as the garage (as are the others in the area) is $22/day. Although it was a little pricey, most of the hotels in Baltimore are, so I would definately stay at this hotel again if I ever end up back in Baltimore!

Newly build hotel still in excellenct condition. Room was comforatable with lots of furniture, small kitchenette and big bathroom. Perfect for business or small family. You may want to make your own parking arrangements. Hotel parking was not included and was a shock at 22 a day. Lots of restaurant options and entertainment options to fill your day. The building is shared with the parent company, Hilton and we may choose to spend the extra money to stay there when we return.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The furninshings were in need of renewal. The hot breakfast was a great start to our day. Many of the sights were within walking distance so there was no need to take the car out of the garage. I hate paying for parking but that seems to be typical for large downtown hotels.

I try to stay here every time I'm in town. Hands down the best around -- and you can't beat the location for dinner in Little Italy or the Inner Harbor!

wonderful view of baltimore, very clean rooms, linens smell of fesh laundering, polite staff, short 2 block walk of inner harbor, and 1 block walk from the famous "Mo's Fishermans Wharf" restaurant.

Check in was easy, our suite was well furnished, modern and comfortable. The location was great, within walking distance to all inner harbor attractions. Great for the family

The room was very nice. The hotel was not very responsive when we had a very loud party in the suite next to us. It was in a great location. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. The front desk did not have very good communication skills. We were told one thing by the hotel manager then something else by the front desk staff. They questioned my son instead of waiting to speak to me, which I found very unprofessional.

I took my sister to Baltimore so that she could check out Univ. Baltimore grad school, and we stayed overnight at Homewood Suites. The parking garage is directly under the hotel--very convenient--and the garage elevator runs directly up to the lobby. The staff was very nice and quick during check-in and check-out. I felt the room was a little overpriced, but it cost less than other comparable hotels in the city. The room was a Studio Suite, so everything was in the same large room essentially--it was very spacious, open, and comfortable. Everything was VERY clean and seemed either relatively new or very well-kept. The bed was very comfortable as well. Overall, I was impressed with how clean and nice the room was, as I am very picky about the cleanliness of hotel rooms. My sister said the water pressure was good in the shower, and the hotel had provided nice Neutrogena soaps to use. The complimentary breakfast was good--there was a nice selection. Also, the hotel was very convenient to the downtown/inner harbor areas. We took a taxi to the inner harbor, but, had the weather been nicer, you could probably walk there in ~15 minutes. The hotel was also very convenient to Univ. of Baltimore as well as the exits to major highways. Overall, I was impressed with the hotel and its location. I would stay there again and tell friends to stay there if they were going to Baltimore.

Dirty, stained comforter replaced with 2 blankets. This after having to wait 1 1/2 hours to be able to check in. Then put in a smoking room by "mistake". Some of the fixtures (water spigots) were not securely fastened. the cabinet under the sink in the kitchen didn't have a bottom shelf. You could see the floor under the cabinets! In the fitness center I tried taking my daughter to the pool to swim laps but as it turned out, no children under the age of 16 allowed in the lap pool. But they could go in the "kiddie pool" which was just as deep as the lap pool (4 1/2ft)! LOL The same rule held true for the hot tub. The hotel itself seems pretty nice. Plenty of amenities. It just may have been just our luck this particular weekend. The location is great. Only 2 blocks from the inner harbor, just as close to little italy and appears to be in an up and coming neighborhood in the city.

The suite was nice for us with 2 small kids. The bed spread comforter was an odd material, slippery and noisy and the beds were very soft. Hard for 2 people to sleep together. With 2 small kids, it was nice suite with 2 different rooms and an ability to close the door between us. Whole Foods is across the street and is great place to pick up snacks for the kitchenette.

Great price, nice staff, beautiful hotel. Would and probably will stay again. Walking distance to the inner harbor, aquarium, etc.
