This Homestead property is conveniently located approximately 10 miles from the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport and 45 miles from Miami. The hotel specializes in extended-stay itineraries and thus provides on-site laundry facilities and provides dry cleaning service. Housekeeping service is provided on a twice-weekly basis for guests staying seven nights or more. Guests staying more than four nights (but less than a week) receive the mid-week refresh only. One pet is accepted per guestroom. The general manager has the authority to allow additional pets per room, based on his or her own discretion. Fees and deposits apply. All guestrooms have full kitchens with refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, and dining and cooking utensils. Other room amenities include workspaces with computer dataports, one dollar per stay unlimited local phone calls, personalized voicemail, and irons and full-size ironing boards. Pet Policy- One pet per room is allowed. A 25 USD cleaning fee will be charged per night, not to exceed 150 USD. This charge will be applied at check-in.

The hotel is very nice, and the staff are very professional and helpful. The only issue that I had with the hotel was that I had to remove several large roaches from the room during the evening hours. I explained this to the hotel staff and they told me that they are going to take care of the issue.

Peaceful. The bathroom was nasty. WhenI got there my room was not ready. The clerk was not friendly at all.

Our first night, we killed HUGE cockroaches just to get out of the room and exchange it for a new and better one. Homestead has no amenities like hotel/motels. For the same price as a Best Western or others of this level, you got NO daily maid service, NO continental breakfast, NO swimming pool, and NO toiletries like shampoo or lotion. If you want fresh towels, you have to take your dirty towels to the front desk (where you have to wait at the door for the staff to buzze you in) and exchange them. You have a small equipped kitchen with micro/stove/refrigerator, but before you leave you are supposed to do your dishes and empty the trash. I can't believe people live here for weeks at 80 a night.

Would never have thought that a place like this would be listed on online travel ! Bed was indented, bugs in room, hair on floor in bathroom, trash behind night stand and on floor, but most importantly, drugs being sold down the hall! Able to hear the deals as they happened! Not a safe place to take your family!

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The cabinets were broke, there were no cookware; even though it had a stove and the theromstat was broken. I had mentioned it to the staff and they came to fix the cabinet, but being that my husband and I were in the room; they said that they would come back and never did. When I'd returned home from my trip; I'd discovered that they charged me for the broken cabinets, lamp and it was already like that when I'd checked in.

Cockroaches around halllway and in the room. The hole facility need to be update it to meet the standards that the Homesteads Hotel around the country bring.

Looking for a nice clean place to lay your head? THIS IS NOT IT!!!!! Room was very dirty with stains on the floor and comforter. No accomadations.

The hotel room was very dirty. The carpet, counter tops, and bathroom were filthy. I'm not normally very picky about hotels, but this one really got to me. We arrived late and were unfamiliar with the area so we didn't venture out to find another room. We only stayed one night. The outside of the property looked well maintained, I was shocked when we got in the room. Others had left good feed back so maybe we were unlucky and just happend to get there when the maid didn't feel like cleaning. There were dirty foot prints on the wall and in the tub.

The room was very clean and smelled good. It was centrally located to the places I needed to go and the kitchen was a huge plus. No daily maid service. I was not expecting this hotel to be very good because it wasone star. I was pleasantly surprised as to the cleanliness of the room and the quality of accommodations. The kitchen was an added bonus. They do not have daily maid service and that would have helped. I had to get fresh towels from the front desk myself. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others to stay there too.

Hotel is rather new. However based on day to day maintenance will soon be shabby. Requested burned out light to be fixed two times and still wasn't done. Saw empty soda bottle behind night stand where it remained during my stay.

The room was very comfortable and clean. We stayed there before traveling home from a Cruise and was very happy with the conditions and where able to regroup before going to the airport the next day.

I had wrote a review before, but guess it was too graphic. We changed rooms and no better. said thee was pool, NOT...No restaurant either. I have noticed the motels features have been cleaned up. But people need to know how a place is. i read all reviews. That is why they are there. But for me, I will pay a little more.

For the money this hotel was the worest. The room was not clean....the toliet made sounds and not justing running all night long and there was not cups even for the coffee provided.

Front desk clerck was friendly only at check in. Service in repairing broken items like the front door for my safety. This hotel I would not recommend to my worse enemy. They really need to use some of the money to fix up the place, especially when you can not lock your front door to your room for 2 nights in a row, the AC was not working, the refrigerator not working, stove sparking a firer this will be only a last resort when I am homeless with no car to sleep in. I know a 1 star hotel would be better I travel at least 16 time or more a year on business this is the worse for a older woman & grand kids.

It?s a great place to bring your family because it has all the necessity you need. It's like a home away from home if you planning on staying for a couple of days.
